I would probably go with the Fox 2.0 if that fits the 2wd. Gives over 2 inches and improves the ride. Maybe someone will post that has replaced their 2wd suspension with some additional advice.
Really depends on what you are looking for. I leveled the front with a 2.5 inch level from fordrangerlifts. Love it. how tall are you looking to go and how much do you want to spend? Are you happy with the current ride? Those would all be things to consider.
I have a tent and awning on top of my Leer topper. Had it on the f150 for 2 years with no issues. Offroading and high speed 80+ mph. I moved it over to the Ranger last month and have had no issues yet. The Thule racks and leer cap I believe both say 200 lbs.
It is typical. The bed of the ranger is not flat across up there. mine has some minor leaking but the water does not flow. when they installed mine the filled the gap with tape so there are no actual holes. I probably get more from the tailgate areas then the front edge. Good luck.
First, thanks for figuring this out. I run a fridge in the rear of my truck and find that over rough road/trail the standard cigarette style plugs like to work their way loose. I went on to amazon and ordered a 5 pack of Anderson style plugs and installed one of those into the rear of the...
I will wait to decide and will be expecting a @Stage3Motorsports comparison against the fox :). the thing I like the most is the spring rate being higher for the load. can the fox receive different springs to compensate for bumper and winch?
I too was waiting for this one. once I get my bumpers done I will complete the suspension so I can get the correct springs. Will probably go this route unless they screwed it up, which is not likely.
I am considering this one https://www.stage3motorsports.com/48002523-2019-2020-Ford-Ranger-AFN-Front-Bumper.html looks intriguing, just don't like the access to the winch clutch lever.
That is the one and yes 5' bed. Easy to put on. It has a spacer at the front which attaches to 2 factory holes at the top of the bed and then it just clamps onto the bed rail from underneath. Probably get it set up in just a few minutes.
If money was no object I would do the alucab canopy camper with 270 deg awning. This does the job though since I already owned the tent and awning. There are faster setups out there but they are more expensive and often less space in the tent.
Tent is 5 minutes or less, awning is probably less. I can be under cover in probably less then 10 minutes but havnt timed. That would be a lazy pace I think
Finally got some pics of the RTT, unfortunately just in the driveway but got it all opened up as I worked on where I wanted to install my fridge. It is a smittybilt tent and CVT awning mounted to a leer cap with thule rack. Cut some 3/8 plywood for a deck to screw to and places some attachment...
