I used weathertech. They are no drill, but it's a little tricky to get installed. I ended up dropping one of the mounting clips inside the fender and couldn't get it out. Luckily they came with a few spares.
Not sure about the lightning, but my wife just bought a Volvo PHEV and it came with 2, 120v cords. If we want a 240v charger/cord we have to buy it. Our current garage only has a 30 amp subpanel, so it won't support a 240v charger (50A) and we'll be moving in a year or 2 so I'm not installing...
I know some will say that because there isn't the infrastructure to support EV all over the nation is a reason to not support EV. That's a different debate and people can have that if they wish.
But, there is a way to roll out EV responsibly. Fleet vehicles, selling in locations that can...
I read this as him not doing any research. I mean, thinking you could drive through hundreds of miles of no-mans land in an full EV? I think he got what he deserved.
Not understanding that his employer needs a charging station? Again, his own fault.
Needing to upgrade his panel? Same thing.
I've had a few windshields replaced, and typically have never been happy with the 'auto glass' places, between goop smeared everywhere and the last one leaking. I had my BMW shield replaced at the dealer, and it was great... luckily my insurance paid for it with no deductible, which I'm sort of...
Ok. When I get to where I can 'install' a noodle and close the gate/cover, I will look into this. Lately, I haven't even been using my cover because I'm carrying stuff bigger than the cover will allow. But if/when I get to where I can leave my cover in place, then I'll try the 'noodle'...
Be advised though, if you drive on any dirt/gravel roads, it will be nearly impossible to keep dust/dirt out of the bed. There's several threads about it, and I started one so check it out. A few people have gotten some home brew solutions that sort of work, but in general the spaces around...
The maverick is S3, though I'm confident it will get S4 in the future, with the size of that opening in the dash. Frankly, I'm surprised they even put S3 in it, but maybe there was still a chip shortage?
I updated to 3188 yesterday and just checked the app and it works for me... I didn't start the truck cause it's in the garage, but everything else works.
When I opened the app it showed there was an update for it, which I installed.
That's interesting, mine may actually darken in the truck and I just never noticed.
Fun fact. I got new glasses a few years ago, and one of the lenses wasn't right, so they got it replaced. When I got them I never noticed, but the new lense wasn't a transition, it stayed clear. I never...
No, they don't while in the car. But, I have to wear my glasses all the time so I don't wear sunglasses anymore. I haven't really had issues in the truck though. I guess I've just adapted.
I had updated to 3088 a few days ago, and just downloaded 3188 today... haven't installed it yet. It's suppose to only take about 10 min to update since it's a small download.
