Went to adjust my parking brake this weekend. I didn't exactly follow the procedure in the manual, just wanted to tighten it up some. I put several turns on it with only slight improvement. I am about to bottom out my 10mm deep socket.
I was very disappointed in the RainX as well. The passenger side streaked from day one, and the driver's side started streaking at just under a year. And as mentioned, they are very bulky.
I replaced them with Splash brand from Rock Auto in January. Working great so far.
These are all great DIY fixes. My question is, if I don't do my own oil changes, am I at risk of the dealer tech getting lazy and not putting all the clips back properly? Or do they just reach up from underneath when it's on the lift?
I started watching the series Ozzy and Jack's World Detour. Very entertaining. He is actually a very smart person with a good knowledge of history. I think he leans conservative. In one episode, he and Jack have a quick-draw contest. Guess who won, Ozzy!
His relationship with his son is admirable.
I was able to clear them. I went to my Alerts page, selected Unread. The number that popped up matched what the red bubble said. Then I had to open each and every one and the red bubble disappeared. Not sure if it will last though.
