I dont really care if they are oem or after market. I measured and found 3 11/16th inside diameter of the hole. So i think i must be off by a 16th becasue of course there are 3 5/8 caps and 3 3/4. Havent checked for 3 11/16 but as its an odd size....but i will.
Just picked up a 5 set of 16" silver oem steelies. I need to find black center caps for them. Searching here and other places isnt finding them. Does anyone have an idea what the exact size is if i go aftermarket or is the ford oem caps it? If so, where can i get 4 of them? Thanks.
thinking about going to 16" steel wheels- oem. And wrapping them in the 31.6" 265/75R16 tires. Will these tires fit without any rubbings etc???? No mods. thanks.
So i belong to a few other auto forums. One is the crv forum. The admin there is such a overbearing/controlling type that you cannot have any fun whatsoever there. it's a shame. he is constantly micromanaging every post looking for redundancy or anything out of line. It is too much like...
personally i avoid the OBX/cape hatteras- too many people. I go to cap e lookout instead every few years. The only thing about that place is that the cabins they rent are off the grid so bring bug spray and lots of it. Also, once on the beach there you can't get off until your ferry gets back...
just an update: went to local retailer and got another filter, same fl910s, took the amazon one off, put new one on, went on smooth as butter. now we know. i gave it a 1 star review. if it wobbles going on that means threads are cut crooked, who knows what other deficiencies it has....from...
so i did an oil change on my 2021 fx4 and noticed when putting on the new motorcraft filter fl910s, it went on with a slight wobble. never noticed this before. i snugged it up tight with hand. ran. no leaks and good level. my mechanic friend, ase cert, says no issue. just curious what you...
my exact experience as well BUT it's about half as bad as it was before the bilsteins. i am guessing the bilsteins are firmer which prevents the shaft from slamming quicker. who knows. i just know in the heat here, like 90s, it does it all the time, in the mountains, 50s. its gone or near gone.
just an update. my level seems to have maintained itself when cold, right at the top of the hash marks. when hot, about half between top hash and top dot. i really haven't changed my driving much though i will say i use sport mode alot more in mountains. i've run her 5k rpm coming down the...
