Your rig looks great! For how affordable these struts are.... I don't know why I originally started off with a leveling spacer, or why anyone else would. Truly the best bang for the buck for our trucks.
No trimming of studs needed for a 1" spacer. Your OE wheels have deep pockets on the hub seating surface. I didn't have to trim my studs with my 0.75" spacers. The stud barley printed onto the aluminum on my rear wheels, so I ground off a tiny amount from each stud (for safe measure)...
Thanks for posting this. I'd like to do something along the same lines for my Girlfriends Brittany. Seems like it would make the back of the cab more useful for stashing tools and so on.
This will hit the nail, directly on the head for you (or anyone else wondering the same).

Theres also a big difference on load ratings and required air pressures for LT and Pmetric Tires.
Example: My truck was spec'd for P265/60R18...
I would opt for the Bora spacers. They have way more thickness options than Faction Fab and they're manufactured in the states. I will warn you, they are made to order. It can take a while to receive them but they are worth the wait. You've probably already seen my previous post in this...
If the run out is so bad, that you're feeling at low highway speeds.... I imagine you could visually see it. I was able see mine just by lifting my truck off the ground with a jack, and rotating the tires by hand. A quality tire should spin very true to begin with. A skilled mechanic will be...
Ended up pulling the trigger on the Fabtechs. They look like they are pretty burly and they fit my budget. I'll post up about them, when I'm able to get some time to install them and get the truck out for an alighment.
Vibration at 65mph sounds more like a tire balance or defect issue. I would take it back and have them check the balance and tires again. I had a similar issue with my Goodyear Ultra Terrains. Had the shop re-balance them and still had a shimmy/vibration. Found that one of the tires had some...
No issues at all. They seems to be really well built. I've been really happy with them. Easiest way to do a minor lift in the rear.... no hassle of accounting for any change in pinion angle. I did shim the drive shaft carrier bearing down a tad, to keep all of the U-joint angles in check.
Thanks for the Input Tom. I am really starting to lean toward these BDS UCA's. I really would like to drop the front diff as well. I was really hopping that someone would have come out with a stand alone kit to do so (to make my CV's a little happier). I like that they use an off the shelf...
I recently installed a set of Fox 2.0 Coilover and I'm wanting to adjust them up, from the factory setting, to about 2.5"-3". From what I've been see reoccurring on here is anything above 2", you should be considering running an aftermarket UCA. I've been looking at the Fabtech UCA kit on...
You will be limited to a 275 series tire without running spacers (due to interference issues with the spindle and UCA). From what I've seen.... folks have run up to a 34-35" diameter tire with a 3.5 and upwards lift. I would consider running spacers or buying wheels with more offset. I run a...
