What kind of highway mileage are you getting. If poor then ABS or Stability Control systems might be a problem. Randomly activating while simply driving. Really strange problem.
I didnāt realize how nice these tunes are until I had to put my truck back to stock while the MyCal device was updated. I had it stock for several days and the stock configuration really blows. Getting ready to flash the performance soft shift tune. Canāt wait.
The stock tune skips 2nd gear for a reason. Shifting is much smoother and less noticeable when 2nd is skipped. In order to not feel 2nd your throttle has to be very light. Not sure the transmission will ever learn a soft shift to 2nd. I finally got to where I could manage it with throttle...
No. I had an FX4 for about 9 months before having it totaled in an accident. The FX4 is very bouncy compared to our current 4x2 suspension and gets even worse when towing.
We picked up our 4x2 Lariat back in March after totaling our FX4. We did get the locking differential and it is the exact truck we wanted before we ended up with the FX4. The 4x2 handles our RV much better than the FX4.
I am seeing and have experienced the responsiveness of Livernois tuning. Here is a back story on my experience.
We purchased our first Ranger in June of 2019. It wasnāt exactly what we were looking for (Lariat FX4) but filled the bill and we were very satisfied with the vehicle. Shortly...
On our first Ranger Lariat (March 19 build) which has since been totaled, there were 6. On our new Ranger (Oct 19 build) there were just 4 And it came with the factory spray in bed liner. I complained to the dealer and they gave me two more.
I reached out to Livernois concerning the MyCal not powering down when the truck is turned off. Today they rolled out a newer firmware update v1.213 that shuts down after 20 minutes of no button presses in any screen except gauges. Or it also shuts down after 30 sec of gauges menu with no...
I just drove it and cycled the ignition several times and it still stays on even after waiting 5 minutes. I will reach out to Livernois and see what they say about it. I actually sent them email back when I bought it about the need for a switch to power off the unit.
I was really stoked to hear that the MyCal will now turn off when the truck is turned off. The lack of a switch was/is the only thing I donāt like about it. After reading your update I went right out and updated my device to make sure all is up to date. Problem is it still will not turn off...
That is so much like the Livernois unit it is scary. I have the Livernois, but have not installed it on our new Ranger since we totaled our original one. Guess it would be nice to not loose the drivetrain warranty. Itās just money. Right.
We had an FX4 for about 8 months before getting involved in a crash and totaling it. The FX4 is pretty bouncy especially when towing, but then the shocks are designed for off road use. We replaced our original with a 2 wheel drive and the ride is much firmer but not harsh. The 2 wheel drive...
