It doesn’t need to since the Redarc system senses braking force Itself. It does know when any braking event occurs though, whether caused by ABS or adaptive cruise.
What you stated here is not correct. The Ford Branded Redarc brake controller DOES link to ABS and the Adaptive Cruise system. it connects to the center rear brake light so it activates the trailer brakes any time any braking event occurs. This is what I have on my truck and it works very...
Specially, which PID is it. I would love to monitor the transmission temp as well with MyCal. I can’t find a PID on it that looks like it would be transmission temp.
If you look at the installation instructions it shows how to check the system and make sure it works. It involves a simple light and alligator clips to connect it to your 7 pin plug. It completes the circuits and you will see the blue led come on and you will be able to adjust the intensity...
Well it got here and I installed it a couple of days ago. After getting it installed and noting several areas still open to dirt and water I pealed it off and sent it back to Amazon. A very poor product in my opinion.

Even on a stock tune there is a noticeable performance difference when running 87 vs 91 or 93. The ECU has the ability to figure out the octane and adjust timing, etc. to prevent detonation. Running on 87 retards the timing. The 87 and 93 tunes make this even more noticeable.
I haven’t noticed any difference in performance between the hard and soft shift tunes, except the truck is much smoother when driving in traffic and around town with the soft shift. The thing I didn’t like about the hard shift was the use of second gear when slowly pulling away from a stop...
Basically what you said is correct. Once you get the tunes for your truck you plug the MyCal into your OBDII socket and flash the computer with the new data. The truck performs much better than stock and the transmission shifting is greatly improved as well. Concerning the no tow, they have a...
