Considering the Tremors come with the General Grabber ATX... And the ATX is pretty much a tread knock off if the BFG... And the Tremor is the nicest riding version of the Ranger.
I would say they handle great! If you have a decent suspension, I'm guessing the only thing you'll feel is the spun...
I'm from PA so I know the feeling. It's not Texas heat, but PA heat can really suck. I was just in town a month ago and I think I died twice from heat stroke
Mostly more about the sun and lack of rain than temp
Hot is high 70's with dipping into low 80's. But low humidity and long days make it awesome.
Record is like 90 from a few years ago but that's miserable as no one has A/C up here.
I've posted about this before so forgive me if I repeat it again.
Good call on winter tires. I'm baffled when Arctic dwellers do the "jUsT aS gUuD" game with their lives and new trucks when having two sets of tires doubles tire life expectancy.
I run Hankook ipikeX studded on stock wheels...
That engine should be pretty sweet. I also agree with the concern about the 8speed tranny. I know they fixed since issues on the previous gen, but it is a GM so who knows.
I do find it funny that most midsized trucks take design cues getting the new Taco... But I feel like the Colorado looks...
Hardwick Performance on YouTube has a 7.3 Godzilla mustang so why not the Ranger?
I think the easy solution is finding an old truck to gut and start from scratch but I know "easy" normally means "boring"
Mine just started 3 days ago.
'21 Tremor with 5k miles
It's hot up here for Alaska and I just did a couple hundred mile trip to see glaciers so I dunno if that hurt it
Agreed, I feel bad for the owners that have had issues, but I def wont be flat towing my Ranger from lessons learned from others.
As far as Jeeps, the older, as well as the new Wranglers, have manual transfer cases with a mechanical shifter. Most go 2Hi, 4Hi, N, 4Lo with the Neutral being a tow...
I used to love Sirius back in the day, but once I got a smart phone, I streamed music.
I still like it in rental cars when I travel and don't want to figure out phone connectivity.
But right now I do the free Pandora... Listen to an ad and get premi features for most of my commute.
Jeep interiors are pretty nice, nicer than the Fusion-esque Rangers.
If I didn't get my Tremor or a truck, the 4xe was likely my next choice!
Nice vehicle, especially with gas prices!
