Yep I just took mine in to the dealer last month to get a new one put on. Truck was only about 8 months old. I'm happy that Ford fixed it with no fuss, but it shouldn't happen in the first place. Mine was in the same exact spot as yours as well.
Is anybody on here running these skid plates? Under Vehicle Protection | Ford Ranger 2019+ | ARB 4x4 Accessories (arbusa.com) I have an FX4, but these skid plates seem much more substantial. I would be interested in how they are on a daily driver (overheating issues, etc..).
LT265/70/R17 General Grabber ATX E. You will notice a little bit of performance loss (I have no tune on mine yet because I need to find a pc, mac isnt compatible ?), but the tires ride fantastic and they are just as quiet as stock. They handle great as well.
I think it would look a lot better if they would have stopped it after the first bar. Looks goofy to me, but that's just my opinion. Cool to be able to mount a winch and keep the stock bumper though.
I think it only downgrades your warranty if they can prove that the tune is the cause of the issue. Im not trying to turn this into a warranty war because i’ve seen how those go on here lol. But what is even more sad is that’s the best warranty there is (unless you pay money to 5 star)
After a lot of reading through forums and researching all of the available tunes, I ended up going with the Ford Performance tune. I know there are tunes that make more power or torque, etc... but I read a lot of people have to send there tunes back over and over and over again and I didn’t want...
Update on my order. Costco had all of the KO2s on backorder and I didn't want to wait so I called a few tire shops and ended up with General Grabber ATX for $700 mounted and balanced! Also load C range.
Picture in the day time. Didn’t get to wash her and its supposed to snow tomorrow so maybe i’ll get her cleaned up for a photo shoot here soon. Love this grille!
Do you notice a significant drop in power or ride harshness? That seems to be the main complaints with the E. Also, any review of them on wet pavement?
Hmmm if they would have had those at Costco I would have bought those or the Falken Wildpeaks. I had a set of Duratracs on my 03 Tahoe and they were great, but I felt like they wore fast. I have heard about the lack of traction in rain with KO2s which makes me nervous
Nope, sorry I should have clarified, I am waiting on my FP Fox 2.0 kit to be installed and tires are still shipping. Im in the same boat as you! Just trying to figure out if I should cancel my orders and get the C or stick with E.
Hello,
Sorry in advance if this question has been answered somewhere on here, but I could not find it.
I just bought a pair of BFG KO2 tires in 265/70/17R LRE from Costco because they had a great deal on them and after scouring the internet it was about 50/50 on people who preferred load c to...
I have definitely had options selected and the auto mode will override and change to wherever it wants. I don’t use auto at all anymore, I can’t stand it
