Very nice truck!
I only saw it mentioned once - but the seat material as well. You can have an XLT and still get vinyl/suede seats. Another thing that I think comes standard with the Tremor are the heavy-duty weather-proof floor mats. Minor things, but still things that factored into my...
This is very interesting. So the Ford branded shocks have Eibach springs with about 10 coil turns, and the Fox is about 6-7 turns and threaded much higher up on the shock. I can see "FOX" written on both springs, but is the Fox 2.0 spring Eibach and the same gauge steel as the Ford 2.0?
I really like the looks of these. Reminds me of what comes on the F-series tremors and raptors. I like the ones that come on the Tremor (and my wife likes them even more), but I prefer this style step that is tucked up higher and offers more clearance.
I'll likely stay with the Tremor steps...
I can't speak for brands other the MBRP, because I've never had them on the vehicle. I have the MBRP 3" single exit S5227BLK that I got from Stage3 on sale for a hair under $500 when it was on sale a few months back. I really like it. At first it seemed jarringly loud hearing a cold start in...
TLDR: I wouldn't worry about it. GIS, tax maps, tax databases can be wonky.
I do a lot of GIS work (albeit not as much as I used to) and I have to stay on certain properties when I am out in the field doing work. There are several things that could be happening here. Post #76 is a projection...
I've had the Ford (AVS) Aeroskin black textured deflector in my basement since October, but finally installed last week. Easy application and looks pretty good methinks.
TopoRanger has a high-clearance, but I can't remember if he fabricated it himself or not. I'm not familiar with the selection of bumpers out there, but wanted to bring up this thread/post: Australian Style Flatbed and Canopy Build | Page 15 | 2019+ Ford Ranger and Raptor Forum (5th Generation)...
All great advice here. For getting what your asking price, @OFC Ranger offered a fantastic approach. Private sale like @2020XLT mentioned is great. Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace are pretty good for private sale. But fielding inquiries, spam, and window-shoppers can be a giant pain in...
We used that stuff on the bottom of a work skiff to protect from rocky shoals or oyster beds. It added a layer of protection for the hull, and it did tend to "slide" a little better on submerged logs and bed rock shoals. BUT the added weight was counter-productive. It made the boat so heavy...
I had a "Oh yeah - I forgot about that" moment last night. Needed mulch and pine straw. I bought 12 bags of mulch, and 8 round bails of straw. Then I realized that I have 5' bed with rollup tonneau cover and two swing cases. Luckily, I keep about a dozen ratchet straps in those swing cases. I...
I run regular fuel and consistently get 22-23.5 mpg on my work trips (150-200 miles). But this is mostly county roads with 55-65 mph speed limits. I could take the interstate and save five minutes, but I prefer the country route and sights vs. the boring interstate and construction. I've...
Likely what Dave said. I've been amazed at how different a Ranger can look with a few add-ons like the tailgate applique, spoiler, rocker panel armor, etc. I am assuming someone just did a custom exhaust/bumper.
