I'm just going to echo others. In general, no, but there are occasions where a comealong will get you out of a pickle. It has for me. I was stuck in a flat muddy area with very little (no) traction. I didn't use a come-a-long to get pulled out, but rather I need help moving forward (and...
I think these smoked chrome and black make a huge difference in appearance. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my F150 emblems now. They are black (not blue), but still have the bright chrome surround and letters.
I have now done this twice (once to put these one, and once to take them off and put the blue back before I sold the truck). I didn't think it was all that bad - I didn't have to remove the grill. But I may be the exception to the rule. I am a pretty small dude and have thin arms, so I just...
Oh yeah - I forgot to address your other question. Like others answered about the M2M, the Putco uses existing mounts that are pre-drilled for the license plate bracket as well at some 3M tape for the rest.
Tiny rocks could pass through the honeycomb, but rocks that are of the size to cause any real damage while going down the road will likely by blocked, or at least partially deflected, to not cause damage to the radiator.
It's never been installed and still has the double-sided tape intact and is as it was straight from when I ordered from Stage3. I was hoping for $60 plus the buyer covering shipping. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!
Howdy folks,
I have a Velossa Tech Big Mouth that is black with the red edge for sale. I'd be happy to ship to you. This has about 8k miles on it and still super clean. Comes with the supplied bolts. Easy install and I am a believer in the 1-2 mpg increase based on my driving style and...
They've been great and I loved them. The Ford-branded version are (were) a factory option/add-on on Ford's website when building a Ranger. Of course, these are the exact same swing cases, but just without Ford's logo and price premium. If these do not sell, I am going to see if I can buy a...
I'll have to look into Gaia and the USFS Visitor Map app. When doing Forest Service roads I always ended up taking notes or creating a map with "Google My Maps" way before we left the house to plan a route. So many of these roads aren't shown as a viable route in most typical navigation apps. I...
Love it! My wife (then GF) used to do little day trips around Johns Mountain and Rising Fawn. We actually stumbled upon McKeown Falls by happenstance when we weren't quite ready to go home and decided to park at the top and hike the loop to the falls. It was in the spring and the entire...
Yes. The rear will take about 5-10 mins with a plastic trim tool or small flathead screwdriver.
The front took me about 10-15 mins.
However, this is because I am small and my skinny arms could reach up to the emblem from the lower grill and use a small wrench (my first time installing) or a...
