Yes. I deleted what limited chrome there was on my Tremor, which is why I went with these. The "smoked chrome" is essentially a carbonized grey (like the accents on the Tremor [i.e., bumper, grill, fender flares, wheels]), but with a shiny finish. If the photos above aren't enough, check out...
oof. That is a tough lesson. My first truck ('77 F-100) had a gas gauge with a needle that danced around like a wacky inflatable tube man. I also drove old diesels that had fuel pumps that worked overtime when fuel was low, leading to burning them up. At a young age, I learned that when I get...
Hey Adam. Yes, it is antimatter blue! I usually shy away from the darker colors. Ive had a couple of black vehicles that have just been a pain to take care of. I was really liking the Avalanche Grey, but nothing in the trim or packages I was looking for. I fell in love with Antimatter Blue...
Well, it's official. I traded in my Ranger for an F150 on Tuesday. My time with the Ranger was short-lived, but I loved it. I had a great time with the minor modifications and "making it my own", enjoyed how peppy and nimble the truck was. I also enjoyed the impressive fuel economy (19 city...
I am selling several accessories after returning my ruck to stock. This listing is for a pair of Smoked Chrome & Black Ford ovals from the Ford Accessories site. This includes that front oval, rear oval, and the rear oval surround (black) that accommodates the backup camera. No chips, no...
Returning my truck to stock and selling numerous accessories. This is the MBRP Black-Series 3" Single Aluminized Cat-Back Exhaust Kit. This thing sounds great and I loved it while I had my Ranger. Please see the photos for condition. These have never seen salt. Some discoloration and oxidation...
I have returned my truck to stock and selling multiple accessories. Here is a pair of Ford Performance red tow hooks that have been on the truck for approximately 5k miles/8 months. They will come with the original colts and red loctite (I did not use these bolts, but instead reused the...
I returned my truck to stock and selling multiple accessories. Here are a pair of Undercover Swing Cases that I had for approximately 9k miles/1 year. They are in great shape, clean, and work great. Because I use my bed often, there are some scuffs and blemishes, but no gouges or the like. They...
Like Duke said, there are dozens of members that have added such lower grill insert for both protection and looks. I actually have a brand new, Putco with the ACC cutout (Stage 3 Motorsports - Putco Black Hex Lower Grill Insert w/ADD) that I never installed before I traded the truck. I'll be...
Great deals out there for F150's, so I went hunting the last two weeks. Ended up getting a Tremor 402a w/ the 3.5 EcoBoost for a hair over $9k below MSRP. I took off my accessories which I plan to list on the member Marketplace this weekend.
Thanks for all the advice, yall. It took about a half-day to pull off and clean up the accessories. I ended up leaving the soft roll-up tonneau cover, (it's cheap, used, and I doubt it's worth the hassle.
Drove 1.75 hours to a dealer I had been speaking to for a few days, traded her in for...
I think I can dedicate a half-day and get everything off I need to. Just gotta find the time in the day, or set up a bunch of lights and do it after the kiddos go to sleep.
True. This is what we did when we sold my wife's car in the thick of the used car boom. We didn't need a third car, and...
Thanks a ton, y'all! I am hearing what I was expecting.
I'm in the Athens-ish area. I'll be sure to let everyone know if/when it happens ?
That's mighty true. I have a good relationship with this dealer. I bought my Ranger there, and my folks have had several vehicles purchased there (or...
This question may be silly because I'm sure each dealer is different, but I wanted to see the forum members' experiences or suggestions.
When trading in, is it better to return to stock, or sell with all of your upgrades/mods?
Sure, I'd like to make a few bucks and sell the parts to someone on...
I agree with Jason. That C-pillar seems off. I'd either 1) continue around the remainder of the cab to have everything black or 2) remove the red portion you have highlighted in the first post's fourth photo (to look more like the Tacoma).
Like Stufus said above, their are so many factors that come into play. Here's my experience with my typical use which is: 10% in-town driving, 80% state/county/US highway, 10% interstate. Mostly Stock '22 XLT tremor, with MBRP exhaust, Velossatech big mouth, truxedo soft bed cover.
87 octane...
Took a 585-mile round trip this week. Found cheap(ish) 93 octane gas, so filled her up. Primarily county 2-lane highway backroads through middle GA and the SC lowcountry, so you can go about 65-70 sometimes, then go down to 35 through little towns or when a logging truck pulls out. A little bit...
Very exciting! There's a feller with a white ZR2 a couple of miles down the road from me, and it looks mighty sharp. I'll definitely peek at the Marketplace - I pass through your neck of the woods relatively frequently for work.
