Finally getting around to installing the auto-up window module this weekend.

I had the battery operated one from the factory on my Focus and it never went dead in the four years I had it. Wonder what is different about this one that may be causing issues? Has anyone had batteries go dead that they replaced with their own batteries? Or have these all been Ford factory...

I was a bit surprised about the lack of garage door opener. The power seats were a bit odd too with only half the seat being power.

@PatrickM do you notice any wind noise at highway speeds with those pod lights? I’m itching to get some but am going back and forth. Thanks.

Mine hangs in 1st a shade too long when first starting out in the morning. 1st then dumps into 3rd. Really makes the fan ROAR even more when the revs are getting up there.

I agree with the seats on long rides. My wife's Edge (and heck even my old Focus) both had leather seats which are much more firm than the Ranger's. Its very comfy at first (like sitting on a couch) but after a while that makes it a bit tiresome on the back and legs.

Thanks for the write up! The fan sound at low speeds is indeed the fan. But usually should only do it right after starting up before the clutch fan warms up (or of course when it is running). I hear it all the time for the first minute or so after the truck has been sitting, but after that...

Oh man, I was driving home with a load the other day with the tailgate down and the beeping was driving me nuts when reversing. I wish I had bothered to look for this.

Haha...I see! So the module we bought ADDS the functionality of it with the remote. The way the bugs were written above made me think that it broke existing functionality.
