Kenny, @Dereku is right - check those skids and also see if any heat shields are loose or bent and check any exhaust clamps in the area they accessed to perform those services. A member on here had what he thought was knocking and it turned out to be either a loose exhaust clamp or a pin-hole...

Robert has a point but if you must have connectors, those seem pricey and Benny @LevittownFordParts.com looked up some connectors/pigtails for me a few years ago and I’m sure they were a lot less than the ones shown above. Maybe he’ll see this post and be able to help you out.

Very nice trip. I’m glad you two got in some great hiking and some off-roading while you were there. The pictures are really amazing. It’s been a bit of a wild adventure over the past year so you deserve a nice break like this one!

Hmmm, I wonder if the jaws of my PEX plumbing clamp tool would fit the Ranger’s boot clamps. The clamps use exactly the same technology and design but is the part you pinch the same size or too big to fit in the jaws? I guess I need to crawl under the truck with my clamp tool and check.

I echo what Dave said - glad all are fine. Granny is pretty resilient (she survived the luge run). I‘m not surprised Thing 1 knew to find the paperwork - likely going through the checklist in their head right away. It sucks that your sis will have to go through the whole process of insurance...

I hear you James. Went for a cardio-pulmonary test yesterday - third floor, took the stairs. Sorry, it’s in our office in the building next door, third floor, back down, across the parking lot, back up the stairs, got to my test, a bit short of breath. 😆 Still aced it, because……stairs.
