Which model ARE? Is that the CX?
As far as Snugtops......are they only available out west? I haven't seen this mentioned before, but I just checked out their website and dealer locator (I'm in MD) says closest dealer is in Oklahoma.....1,500 miles away!
I'm in the same boat....ordered my Ranger about 3 weeks ago and am now spending MORE money before it even gets here.
I think I'm down to the Leer 100XR or the ARE CX, I might flip a coin....they're both about the same price. I also like the ARE Z2, but it was about $1K more.
I'm with you in...
Thanks! Hadn't really considered the flip windows...but I could see that being the type of thing you'd immediately regret if you didn't get them! I'll have to reconsider....
I think I'm leaning towards a top. I play and coach a ton of softball and I'd like to be able to leave all my equipment in the back most of the time. I'm thinking that all the in and out with a tonneau would get old pretty quickly as much as I'd be in and out of the bed, plus I can't carry my...
I work in the insurance industry.....a year or two ago, and I don't remember all the details, but long story short, I read an article about the driver data collected from cars being potentially more valuable than the profit from manufacturing/sales. They know where you drive, get gas, sleep...
I think demand for the most fuel efficient trucks and suvs will go UP. Demand for trucks and SUVs is so high in the US, I don't think they'll stop selling (not quite yet anyway), but buyers may adjust their thinking when it comes to fuel efficiency and overall cost. For example, I could see a...
I could be wrong but I think dealers may threaten longer wait times to push the overpriced used inventory they have. I checked with several dealers. The ones who had used ones on their lots were also were the ones who gave me the longest new order wait time estimates. I only found one used one...
I love this lowered look! Did you compare mpg before and after? I'm curious if there was a noticeable difference? Improve the ride?
I'm on the Eshore....just outside Denton. Ordered a 2022 Ranger a couple of weeks ago from Hertrich in Easton.
XLT Supercrew Carbinized Grey Metallic.
Pics to...
A MoCo gun owning 4wd Ranger driving female?!
You're on the wrong side of the ditch! ;) You belong over here on the Eshore ma'am.
Sharp black Ranger btw!!
I'm on the Eshore. Just outside Denton. Ordered a 2022 a couple weeks ago from Hertrich in Easton.
Not in Delaware....but only about a mile away in Caroline County MD....I'm in DE as much as MD sometimes. I work in Dover.
Have any of you used Trick Trucks in Millsboro for anything? Thinking of getting a cap from them.....if I can swallow the price!!
Having had some extra bells and whistles in my Lariat F150 and now going slightly more "bare bones" on a new Ranger, here's my .02 on options.
I've had heated power seats in my F150 and in my Pilot. They're nice, but ehhh, not a biggie. Driver side quit heating in both vehicles and power...
Yeah, I thought about that - the instant gratification. There's not much other explanation for paying more than a new order, and personally, I'd MUCH rather order and get everything exactly how I want.
As far as things improving.....who knows what that's gonna happen. I wouldn't be surprised...
I just ordered mine....2022 XLT with black package and towing package...plus some other small options for thousands less...BEFORE the Ford rebate!
I checked autotrader last night....asking prices are nuts. 2019-2021 used with under 30k miles are being listed for around what i paid for mine...
If you're new to towing....especially taking delivery of a boat....always check.
Check that boat is secure to trailer....front and back.
Check receiver....down, locked, with a secure pin (I use a lock made for trailer hitches)
Check chains....crossed (required in some if not all states)...
I owned an F150 Supercrew Lariat for 20+ years and also drive a 2005 Honda Pilot....and have a daughter turning 16 soon. She's gonna get the pilot and I'm gonna drive the ranger.
After having a full size truck, I knew i didnt need one and wanted to save $10k. So I started out looking at...
