Had a fun little tail gate party with the Ranger and a few of the Sigs the other day. Also broke in the new CZ TSO for the first time. 10mm, .357sig, and lots of 9!
Pretty disappointing design of the resi mount locations and lack of info that more offset is required to make it work. I was able to use a wrench on the hose fittings and forcefully rotate the resi so the fitting is now near 10-11 oclock (passs) and 1-2 o clock (driver) and tight to the truck...
Just finished installing my Fox 2.5s. After I got the tires back on I was testing clearances and sure enough at full lock the tires hit the fitting coming off the resi. The orientation of the fittings coming off the resi doesn't seem like it can be changed or in other words i don't see how you...
Interesting. They still list the UCA as only compatible with the aluminum knuckles on the website. Supposedly they were going to email me when the new version for the steel knuckles were shipping. Honestly as much as I like the delta joint arms I’m pretty interested in the SPC arms due to the...
Bump. Wondering if anyone has logged some miles with the SPC arms or if there are any other new options for the steel spindles. Looks like icon is still unable to get their DJ UCA to market for the steel spindles.
Bone stock as far as the engine goes. I do tow a two place aluminum snowmobile trailer in the winter its maybe 5k fully loaded with sleds and gear. But I haven't been towing recently when the leak developed.
I was able to get a few new drips already on the bottom of the bell housing just from a short drive last night after I degreased and cleaned everything. With the fresh drips I can tell its engine oil and not tranny fluid.
This is the second oil change I have done. The trough for draining the...
Well I had to go for the warm tranny fluid check. After running all the gears and getting it as warm as i could I was able to get a reading with only minor burns. Fluid is right at 6. I checked multiple times to make sure the dip stick was seated all the way. So it appears my fluid level is low...
Well I pressure washed and degreased everything to see if I can better pinpoint the source. Its been wet down here with a lot of rain so the road spray mixing with the oil makes it difficult to even see where it starts. I haven't seen a drop in the oil level yet but my truck has always been an...
On further inspection there is oil everywhere, starting to come down both sides of the bell housing, on top of the transmission, blown to the back of the transmission pan. Serious leak and serious problem. Nothing like buying a new vehicle to avoid brake downs just to have your most important...
Well the Ranger just delivered a low blow. Discovered an oil leak while doing an oil filter change in preparation for a 15 hour drive for our holiday trip we have been planning for 6 months. Im having trouble finding the source of the leak. From what I can tell it definitely drivers side, rear...
I have installed a canopy on every truck I have owned. So far this is the best cap. Can't imagine going without the side doors anymore. No leaks, no issues. Installed for free at my local shop. 4 legged friends love the windows.
I just had the unpleasant experience of trying to replace my rear glass. $950 for the assembly as you can’t just get the glass it comes with the slider rails and center window installed. And it’s back ordered for at least a month. Will be adding glass to my insurance !
Some good looking Sigs out there ! Took the ranger out today to our local backwoods shooting spot and got to do some more testing of the fox 2.5 in the rear and put some rounds down range.
I really like the modularity of the P320 and have already had some fun playing transformers with...
Seems like a lot of Glock guys drive fords. Any other Sig fans out there that like to pack metal framed hammer fired classic P series around in their rangers ?
