  1. Driveshaft play

Mine has the same issue. Sometimes it does it, sometimes not. Only 3k miles on mine I think one of these days, I'm going to get the boot/clamp kit, bring it to my buddy's shop and do it myself. Question is if Ford is swapping out the driveshaft will the new one have the same issues? Don't want...

Lol The Tacoma's whispering to the Ranger.."When I grow up, I want to be like you"..... Just kidding...To each their own lol
  3. Window Deflectors

I actually have the Goodyears saved in my Wishlist on Amazon. They have really good reviews. Not knocking other brands, and these look pretty well made. Might pull the trigger on these soon. I never had Window Deflectors on any of my vehicles, the Ranger would be a first
  4. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Had the front windows tinted a shade lighter than the factory rears. Looks good and keeps the Sun's rays and heat from coming in ? Disregard the reflection of my pot belly on the rear door lol

  11. Vibration on lowered truck.

Buddy of mine had the same vibration issue, taking off from a stop. He has a '20 F150 and had a Belltech lowering kit installed. He contacted them and ordered a shim kit for the rear leaf springs, different sizes. Through trial and error a shop eliminated the vibration. Whatever kit you have...
  12. Brakes warped

Get the best quality rotors and pads you can afford. I had a ’14 Grand Cherokee under 50,000 miles out of warranty when the rotors went bad. I spent some good coin to do it once and forget it

  14. Ford performance tune, I surrender, need to go back to regular gas

That sucks. When I got my Ranger I was psyched to feed it a steady diet of 91 octane. Matter of fact I did fill up 3 or 4 times on 91 when I first got it. I don't intend on a tune anytime soon, I just wanted to feed it some higher octane gas. I just can't these days. As of today 87 is $5.09 and...
  15. Oh boy I'm having a fun morning

That sucks. And I’d bee pissed off too. When I went to look at Rangers I saw the one I wanted and noticed a small tear on the edge of the rear seat, driver side. Probably from potential buyers getting in and out to check out the room in back. The dealer assured me it would be fixed and it was. I...
  16. Oil Extractor Oil change.

To each their own. I'm old fashioned I'd rather get underneath and unscrew the the drain plug. Let it bleed out. Even better if the old oil is hot coming out.
  17. Malfunction indicator lamp-regulatory

Just taking a wild guess. Maybe something to do with the Capless fuel filler thingamajig?
  18. Where do you get your oil changed?

It was my last truck, a Nissan Titan. I don't want to sir any pot, and the dealership did right by me with the trade, but I did ALL oil changes myself. Whoever bought my Titan got a well-cared for vehicle.
  19. Where do you get your oil changed?

I'm coming up to 3,000 miles on my truck and plan on changing it at least the 4,000 mile mark. I got a 12 qt. box of Supertech synthetic, and a couple Motorcraft filters on hand. I've been doing all my oil changes my whole life- owned vehicles and leased. I change the oil religiously. Side...
  20. Brake shudder?

Sounds like you're doing some heavy braking, riding the brakes, A lot of towing, or a combination of all 3. When the Brake Rotors heat up, they will warp, causing a shimmy in the steering wheel, while braking, especially when hot. My suggestion- get Good quality front replacement Rotors-gonna...
