I did mine at 83k and it was fine. If you can get a good look down the holes and check for water and corrosion, it will help. I bought an engine cover right after I got the truck so I had no corrosion issues. If you look and see water and rust, yeah, I'd let someone else do it.
I went with the Autostart Eliminator, which is just a harness that goes inline to the switch and implements a state memory. Super easy install.

On the wheel I bet someone replaced a wheel due to an accident and the Tremor wheel couldn’t be sourced or they cheaped out.
As for the upfitter switches missing, I’m going with the possibility of an assembly line error that no one caught (and no one paid attention to the fact they should even...
Thought I'd add a datapoint since I replaced the original OEM battery on my 2022 Tremor Lariat today.
I set SOC to 90% in Forscan at around 6 months of the battery age. The battery was 1,454 days old (3.98 years). Every 3-4 weeks I'd put my Solar/Clore PL2320 on it to completely charge...
Yep, no major issues other than the camber bolt messing up.
I think you might get 1.75 but not sure about 2 or more. I couldn’t quite figure out how much height I got per turn but it wasn’t much. There’s a little over an inch of threads left but it’s not a 1-1 ratio.
you could probably pair...
To follow up on this, I did have to return the Eibachs and order full coilovers due to the difference in diameters. Shock Surplus was great to deal with and let me pay the difference.
My factory Fox shocks were tired at 70k, so I ended up replacing them with Eiback Pro-Truck Coilovers and rear Eiback Pro-Truck shocks.
Originally I ordered the Pro-Truck front and rear set without springs. I had intended on using the factory springs but I discovered that the diameter of the...
Yeah I'm hoping it's not an issue. They literally just threw four Eibach boxes in a bigger box, and everything is available individually. I figure I won't hear anything until Tuesday.
Bilstein and Rancho have "not for Tremor" on all of their models, but the Eibachs have no such caveat. I should...
Unfortunately I don't have a backup vehicle and there's no local options for rebuild.
I'm at 70k miles and the ride has become very rough.
I bought the Eibachs as a front/rear set and installed the rear shocks yesterday. Those alone made for quite an improvement. I'm hoping Shock Surplus will...
I think you're right. I measured the body of the factory Fox shock and its approximately 2.28" round, whereas the Eibach diameter is 1.96".
Looks like I'll be calling Shock Surplus on Tuesday to see if they'll let me swap them out for something else.
Thanks for the heads up.
I ordered a set of Eiback Pro Truck front shocks, (not the coilovers, but E60-35-048-01-10 which is the bare shock without a spring).
I've removed springs from struts before so I'm comfortable with that. These shocks re-use the OEM spring perches and springs. It occurred to me this evening...
I was looking at it more from the perspective of general mileage and condition. Lot's of folks talking about walnut blasting for DI engines. I'm still waiting for someone to boroscope their intake valves here :)
I've had mine throw up this alert before too. Oklahoma turnpikes can be pretty straight and flat. Tends to happen when you can get into a straightaway on a perfectly flat road, requiring no steering input at all. Rarely happens though, maybe twice a year.
Just installed mine today.
The build quality, packaging, and instructions are outstanding.
The install is a bit of work, but that's because of the tight clearances it has to fit into.
Quangdog's video is excellent. Read the docs, and watch the video, and you'll be fine.
What are you guys putting on after removing your factory Foxes? I'm kind of looking at the same predicament. I don't think I have a local rebuilder, and will need a replacement if I send them off.
Curious as to how everyone's factory Fox shocks are doing (or did) before they had to replace or have them rebuilt.
I discovered the thread talking about rebuilding a while back, and I'm at 43k right now. Everything seems fine, but I've been thinking about what my options might be when its time...
My turn! Just got my 22 Tremor back from getting the updated strategy applied from TSB 23-2350. The behavior hasn't been just horrible yet, but the shifts were harsher than they should have been. It shifts very smoothly now, but we'll see if it stays that way.
