Never used the AT52's, but I had AT51's on an XJ and absolutely shredded them on Black Bear Pass and the Alpine Loop 2 years ago. I expected to lose a couple lugs here and there, but they got shredded. Luckily, they held air for long enough for me to finish all the trails. I realize that rocks @...
I've ran those Hankooks (or similar, same tread pattern) on a 2001 Ranger and my JK for a while. They held air for probably 15 or so years (i'm not sure, but i got them at 1/2 tread on my 01 ranger and I ran them until bald on my JK). Never gave me an issue, and even wore pretty much perfect...
I'm personally not against EV's and I like the no-haggle approach. I've always hated that part of car buying. Wouldn't mind leasing an EV Maverick when it comes out (I have plenty of ICE vehicles for longer trips).
You may be mixing up mine and rcairflr's posts haha, pretty sure he has the escape with the Rostra and CC on my JK works normally, and I'd hope on the ranger it will downshift to go up a hill  .
Well, you guys have helped me convince myself, I'm going to put in an order for the...
Looks like a great time! I'm more and more impressed by all the midsize trucks and especially the Ranger's towing power everytime I look. Drummond was where all my brake issues started haha. That Drummond mud gets everywhere and into everything. It's been two years, and I think there still some...
Wow! This is exactly the vehicle I want to tow with a Ranger I plan to order. Gobi 2DR Jeep JK as well! And I also had caliper issues, mine were sticking at some point on 3/4 corners. Turned out mud was getting under the piston boots and was causing corrosion.
Hmm, this seems to include CB, regular walky-talky things, and GMRS. I don't really use these much, other than offroad in my Jeep, but I did want to use the Ranger to tow the Jeep to the trails. Guess I could live without it.
Edit: There is 1 CPO 4x4 XL 101A within 75 miles of me...
My JK Sport is a manual, manual windows, no infotainment/screens, and I paid to have AC added :D
Will check out CPO in my area, but a preliminary search showed nothing I liked. So far, I'm slowly talking myself into a Rostra
Cool! You didn't need to get any other modules? Just an XLT steering wheel? Any issues with clockspring/airbag?
Something tells me that the dealership is not going to like that haha.
 True, my Ranger test drive was a Lariat and it was NIIIIIIIIIIIICEEEE. Actually, all the mid-size trucks I test drove were loaded (The Colorado was SUPER nice, but i don't want that 8L45). But, it's hard to justify the extra cost for some niceties that I can accomplish, for the most...
Thanks for the feedback! And the Rostra will tap into the same components on the Ranger as well.
Yes, the JK safe-ish (as safe as JK's are, i guess) and dependable. But, it's been pretty built for offroad and I don't have the stock parts anymore, so it's not very street friendly. The main...
I was thinking that too, however; I'm also weighing in my mind the fact that the Maverick hasn't been out for long enough for people to report issues with the Rostra CC module. Other non-Maverick research that I've done is that the CC modules seem to be quite reliable, but they probably don't...
I wasn't sure if I was allowed to provide a link. But here they are for anyone curious:

My thoughts too, was trying to talk myself into it :( I'll wire up lights, fans, lockers, ect up all day, but was wary of tapping into all the harnesses that the Rostra required, especially on a new Truck that still has warranty.
Guess I'll just wait for the commodity hold on 101A.
Fixing an unused 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the mean time (maybe new . Both my 01 Cherokee and 17 JK have auto-lockers in the rear, so they really suck in the Winter. I have to put a new rule on myself "I will not turn my next vehicle into an off-road vehicle."
Don't have a ranger yet, but whatever Chevy did on the Colorado Z71, that truck rides really, really nice (IMO). Not wobbly at all. Test drove one when I was looking for a Ranger to test drive. The Ranger ride quality in my test drive vehicle was pretty laughable, I remember thinking to myself...
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to order a 2023 Ranger, preferable ASAP (need a vehicle capable of rear facing child seat by March, I currently drive a 2Dr Jeep). The dealer reports that the XL 101A package, which is the one I really want, is on commodity hold with no end in sight, so I'm stuck...
I tried to put an order in for an XL 101A with just the rear diff locker, but apparently the 101A Package was holding up my order, since they were able to put an order for the XL 100A.
I’ll try again tomorrow, and see what if getting the XL 101A with SYNC3 option will make a difference, as...
