  2. New SUV Recall :(

I work in the cybersecurity industry and this is equally a concern for us. Due to widely dispersed supply chains, supplier risk management is the name of the game. For us it isn't engine fires, it's data that we share with them.
  3. The start of the journey.

with the level, you can go as big as you want. The issues you’ll run into first are crash bars, fender liner, and wheel offset. I had 35s with 1.5 inch spacers and the fox suspension.
  4. The start of the journey.

I took mine to a shop after doing a poor job of installing myself, they adjusted the preload from there. Iirc they come stock at 2.5” lift which should be about level. Adjusting shouldn’t be necessary.

  6. Colorado Sold: WTB - Rock Sliders, preferably ARB with fender rail connecting to the Summit Bar

Located in Denver, and willing to drive a fair distance. Starting to search for the ARB Rock Slider + Fender rail combo. Figured I'd check around 2nd hand before committing to buying new.
  7. Winter Trails in Colorado?

Largely depends on the snowfall at that time and where you are looking. Trails closer to the front range are a safer bet as they're more frequently traveled. I ran switzerland a couple times over the winter. Way more fun in the snow and ice, and not completely infested by SxS's.
  8. Australian Style Flatbed and Canopy Build

depending on progress of the project, I will be down your way around early January. Would happy to lend a hand for an afternoon if needed.
  9. Australian Style Flatbed and Canopy Build

Following. I am absolutely in love with Aussie style touring setups, but they are so expensive here. Really interested to see how it comes out and what your final cost looks like. I watch a ridiculous amount of 4WD 247 and have fallen in love with touring down under.
  10. 2022 Ranger Engine tick.

Sounds like mine. First couple times I aired up the ticking scared me, but now I know it’s good to go.
  11. My '21 Lariat FX4 Off-Road/Overland Camping Build

Bottom side shot is the new tires. 285/70/18 - about 32.5 as she sits right now
  12. EV

If I hadn't done so much work to my 5G, I would strongly consider trading up for an PHEV Ranger whenever that hits the US market
  13. EV

Liking EV's of any sort is not allowed here on R5G
  14. Awesome! Wireless charging EVs!!

It's a double edged sword. Too many on one side of the EV spectrum think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread and have 0 emissions. Too many on the other side just like to poke holes in EV's and say they'll never work. The market is clearly trending towards EV's and Rome wasn't built...
  15. Awesome! Wireless charging EVs!!

Any mention of EV's on this forum usually turns into this. Apparently there's a vocal subset of Ranger owners who think EV's gaining popularity will be doomsday
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

know what this means? time for a high clearance bumper
  17. Awesome! Wireless charging EVs!!

I'd think that the commercial was probably to exaggerate/highlight the fact that Jeep is building a wireless charging network. Bit disingenuous to take it literally and blow it out of proportion for a forum post.
  18. My '21 Lariat FX4 Off-Road/Overland Camping Build

Here's another update. I've decided to go forward with ground tent camping and build out my dream ozzy style touring setup in the bed of the truck. WIP pictures below with more to come later this week as I wrap up the first iteration. Headed to Moab next weekend for the first test. Also, I have...
