Anyone know how they know an ASE tech installed it? My dads a ford tech I wonder if I could call him up and have him put it in the system but I install it
The forums definitely need an update. Especially the buy/sell section. If the market were bigger I could understand separate sections for different components but as slow as it is we'd be fine with one for everything.
Sorry to derail! Sounds fun I'm in CO though so a little too far. Make sure...
Whats your MPG looking like? Considering that same size just not sure if I want the E or SL load rating. Not too sure how much ill actually be off roading if ill need the extra sidewall strength
Definitely noticed #2. My work boots are size 13 so I mainly notice it when wearing those, luckily its only a 10min drive to work. Can't imagine how annoying it'll be though wearing giant insulated snow boots. Probably will just have to drive in a different pair and swap when I get out.
Yeah that's how his was. Not saying its going to be the same but he just went to a pick n pull and snagged a front drive shaft and it was fine after that. Obviously won't be as many ford rangers in scrapyards yet though.
Got a reply. Still got awhile before I even purchase a rack but good to know. Most likely will never take the rack off so its not the end of the world.
Sorry for necro. Any update? Definitely looks to be bolted in which is a bummer as this is the shortest rack i've found so far.
Edit: Shot them an email to confirm. Also offered to drive down for them if they want to take a stab at making a clamp system.
285/70r17 is probably the most popular size for offroad tires. Just curious why you need 7-8 rims and tires? Seems like it would just add excessive weight and take up more space.
Edit: also might want to consider a block or add a leaf lift in back if you're going to do 3.5inches in front...
New 2020 XLT Screw with Fx4, 302a, tech, towing, red color markup. MSRP was 41k something, d plan wouldve been 38400. Got 4k markdown, 2k incentives, 5k down from trade.
Came down to 29k before tax and fees, 34k after. Put a 2k down payment and added gap insurance and extended warranty. 35k otd...
Anyone have experience with Dakota Hill SE trail? Looking at alltrails seems like it typically doesn't open back up until June/July. Is that the usual time most stuff opens back up? Only been here a couple years and my first time actually looking for offroad trails
Appreciate both of your help. I'll bookmark buena Vista for down the road. Hopefully I can convince the wife I need a lift to reach some cooler camping spots.
Sounds good. I figured it might not be the greatest time of the year to go. I'll checkout those books and hopefully once it warms up a bit ill have a lift and bigger tires.
Hi everyone! Just picked up my truck on Friday so I get to leave the tacoma forums and join these. Coming from a rwd taco so I didnt get to really explore anywhere in the mountains. Any good trails to take a stock fx4? Something harder than a fire trail but not too hard where ill get stuck if I...
