  1. General Grabber ATX

If you're still shopping, General is coming out with 265/70r17 in C load range. Just placed my order through Matt @Discount Tire. They're on back order for a month or 2 but could be worth it to wait if you want a little more durability
  2. Kenda Klever R/T 33x10.5

Yeah there's like a $40 difference per tire. Idk I want to try some trails here in Colorado and people make it sound like they're gonna get ripped to shreds if you don't get LT
  3. Kenda Klever R/T 33x10.5

God damn. Trying to figure out if I should go with LT or SL tires right now. Actually stuck between the toyos in 265/70r17 or the OPs tires in 33x10.5r17. Think I read on the tacoma forums the OPs tires are like 67lbs each and idk if I want to give up that gas mileage
  4. Kenda Klever R/T 33x10.5

Nice looking truck man! How are you liking the tires so far?
  5. Tire Size Fitment Master Thread

How do you like the tires overall? Thinking about getting them in the same size but there's not too much information about them. Also are they good in snow/ice? Debating whether it's worth it to forego the 3 peak snowflake symbol on one of the more common A/T
  6. Why did you choose a Ranger over another Truck

Had an 05 tacoma before that I loved but it was only rwd and access cab so I had to upgrade. Drove a new tacoma and it felt pretty slow. Actually almost purchased a 2016 colorado last year but the sales manager said "we negotiate in 100s not 1000s" so passed on that. When it came down to it it...
  7. Scrolling ads

I agree they're necessary but as of yesterday got a lot more intrusive and obnoxious. I don't use an ad blocker but with the way things are going I will start to. That's what this thread is for, if the owner/admin sees and realizes they might end up losing money then they will consider reverting it.
  8. Scrolling ads

Yeah It doesn't really bother me. I work in cybersecurity so I understand how it works and what they use it for. If you're not on someone list for doing bad then there's nothing to worry about. Dont have a problem with ads but they changed something yesterday to allow the scrolling ones that...
  9. Scrolling ads

If you want to get upset with my saying the layout of the forums suck then go ahead. Never said anything about the members. I understand ads are necessary which is why I didn't have my adblocker on before but if they're going to start allowing intrusive ads then it's time to turn it on. Maybe...
  10. Scrolling ads

Did they just add these? Been on here using my phone since like December and I can't remember ever seeing them til now. These forums already aren't setup that great now I gotta deal with this shit every time
  11. Fordpass points for buying new vehicle

Sorry to hijack, does anyone know if the extended warranty is supposed to show up in the fordpass app?
  12. "Leveling" Kit for towing reasonably heavy

Not speaking for OP but I took it more as he just doesn't want them aiming up. If you're level and load the rear then they'll point up. If you have rake and load the rear then the truck will be level and they'll point straight.
  13. "Leveling" Kit for towing reasonably heavy

Could go with the OME kit which I believe includes a new leaf pack that would lift the rear at the same time as the front. Or just get the better coilovers and set them at 0" lift Edit: forgot about about add a leaf. That + fox is about the same as the OME
  14. 2020 Ranger FX4 off road, XLT with sensors

Recommend going to the exterior mods section and checking out some of the ones there. Multiple different brands: ADD, svc, afn, arb, shrockworks, etc.
  15. Thoughts on pricing for a 500mi "used" 2019 XLT?

Double check on the warranty. The seller has to initiate the transfer. Not sure how many times it can be transferred but they'd have to transfer to the dealer then dealer transfers to you. You don't automatically get the warranty for buying a newish used car
  16. Thoughts on pricing for a 500mi "used" 2019 XLT?

If nothings wrong with it I'd say that's a reasonable price. Weird for it to be traded in/sold with so few miles though so I'd definitely get a carfax. There is a ford tech/parts guy on here somewhere who might hook you up and check the vin for warranty work on it. The damage on the screen is...
  17. Thoughts on pricing for a 500mi "used" 2019 XLT?

Is this a certified pre owned from a ford dealer? As far as I know you won't get the warranty if it's not Edit: you mentioned pricing but not the actual price. Hard to say if it's a good deal or not without knowing that
  18. Using parts backorder issues as "buyer bargaining leverage"

You should probably also bring up how much better the tacomas sell and that you're doing ford a favor by buying a ranger, sales manager will probably take 10k off just for you
  19. Ford Performance pack warranty? What does it cover?

1st paragraph: does not void the warranty 2nd: tune itself has a warranty 3rd: again tune does not void the warranty 4th: if the tune causes an issue with other parts while the tune is still under warranty then the tune warranty covers the repairs. Doesnt really matter since the factory...
