Just got a lariat with these wheels. Seems pretty good except for packed down snow. Lots of spin even coming slowly out of corners. I think I'll spring for a winter wheelset next year and use the Hancook for the other seasons.
makes sense. Before the highway segment, I've already got 10mi, so truck is warmed up. Only 250mi on odometer. I know it will get better with some mileage.
New Lariat owner here. Can't say I'm impressed with mpg at all. I have a highway segment, ~10mi at sea level, mostly flat. I reset the trip just as I enter highway. At end of 10mi this morning I got 22.7mpg. That was with the cruise set to 68mph. Granted it was cold (8F), but my Ridgeline I just...
I want to get these shocks for my 4x4 lariat, non fx4. I tow occasionally. Will these act to level the truck and will I have problems when towing? Oddly my lariat seems level already with very little to almost no rear end lift. I figured if i got the 5100s, I'd install them at 0" or possibly...
The Ridgeline (2018) had everything I needed for last 3yrs, then we went and bought a boat that's 6000lbs+. The RL towing capacity had 5000lbs, but they have a somewhat weak tranny. I didn't want to push it and I was kinda getting itchy to get into something else. Had a 150 before, so familiar...
Not sure these qualify as annoying although at some point they probably will:
1. No electric sliding rear window on the Lariat? Really?
2. Hybrid electric seat, where some of it is manual and some electric. Why not make it all electric in Lariat?
3. No memory seats. See #2
4. No heated...
Right! Out of curiosity, I know the truck knows when a trailer is attached. Is any information like truck mileage or otherwise stored in the black box?
I'm getting a new Ranger today and heard that you must have ~1000mi on tranny/engine before towing. I snowmobile and will need to tow next weekend, but at that point I expect only ~300mi on truck. Sled and trailer weigh ~2,000lbs. Would this be ok or am I putting the truck at risk?
Well, drove the used 2019, but ended up going with new 2020 Lariet. Just couldn't get past some of the 'cheap" features of the XLT and didn't want to regret the purchase. Obviously paid more for the Lariet, but no regrets and got good trade on Ridgeline.
I was initially settled on the lariat mostly because of leather, but that's only because I've had them on most of my other vehicles. I am willing to try the cloth and maybe get seat covers. I did just find a 2020 same trim with only 5,000 mi (courtesy vehicle) for $35,000. Seems like a...
Starting to get cold feet about this offer. I think the offer at 35K is decent, but the truck is already 2yrs old and only one year newer than my Ridgeline. For a few thousand more I could probably get a 2021 with some nice rebates come Spring.
Here's one more I was looking at. Fully loaded XLT with 16K miles. They will CPO it for $35,000. She did say that I will lose a little on the bumper to bumper by going the CPO route, but it seems like the powertrain coverage to 100,000 would be worth it. thoughts...
