Many/most Canadian equipment rentals won't allow anything more than 5,000 lbs out on your truck/trailer unless it's CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration). LOL, I was on the same line, but you beat me to it. A Bobcat is only 20-30 lbs, why the hell would you need a trailer? On a serious note, even a small skid steer is over 6,000 lbs, with many over 7,000 not including a trailer.

I would have given it allot of consideration when I bought my Ranger, but far too deep on mods and add-ons, to take the money/time loss to do it all again. Ask me again in 15 years ;)

Agreed, "they" making horrendous decisions is the problem. A gas plant would have been perfect to replace the coal plant, but government corruption and kick backs are a power tool. The Ontario gas plant scandal that cost the tax payers $950 million for 2 cancelled gas plants, was also a factor...

Edit: It may work through the Ranger power, if the key is on which I didn't realize is part of flat towing. I completely agree with @t4thfavor, requiring the key to be on is asking for trouble.
