  1. Fuel Economy versus Fuel History

Dang… your display is fancier than the one on my XLT. ?
  2. Ceramic Coating Opinions?

I just bout a small bottle of technicians choice tec582 ceramic detail spray that I’m going to try on my 19 Ranger. If it works well and lasts a decent amount of time I’ll consider the larger gallon size. My truck is garaged so my hope is it should last last a while.
  3. Factory auto start-stop delete?

Sorry for the delay! When I first bought the truck the start stop feature was annoying so I bought one of the eliminator devices and installed it. I removed it after I got a oil change at the dealership since I was getting several error messages and auto stop start was one of them. Before I...
  4. Factory auto start-stop delete?

I have a Auto Stop Start Eliminator which works great but don’t really need it anymore. My 2019 is a low mileage truck (2 years & 7600 miles) the battery doesn’t stay at a high enough charge for it to activate. I could probably sell it!
  5. 2021 Ranger Gas smell?

Good luck getting any real assistance from Ford with the fuel in the oil. It a common issue many of us have to one degree or another and has been discussed many times in several threads. If he hasn’t already disposed of the oil send a sample to Blackstone labs for testing to determine the fuel...
  6. Ford pass app red at top ?

Since you said yours turned red right after a update I went to the app to see what version of the app I currently am running. Mine is ver 4.12.0. On a iPhone 12. That info can be found under Account, Settings, then the app version will be listed at the bottom of the page. I’m very curious if...
  7. Ford pass app red at top ?

I checked mine and it looks and operates normal. No red on mine at all. A long shot but when did you last restart your phone?
  8. Mudflappers

Ive been considering mud flaps for my 19 XLT. I don’t often drive on gravel roads so pitting isn’t a huge concern. My reason would be to keep snow and slush buildup off the running boards which makes them very slick. at least my hope is flaps will keep slush from flying up there.
  9. Dealership adjusted my tire pressure.

I should have mentioned it on my first post but big surprise, me forgetting something…. My truck is also the super crew and has the 255/65 R17 stock factory tires.
  10. Dealership adjusted my tire pressure.

I have a smart (ish) 4 amp charger, not a true battery maintainer but it works well so thanks for reminding me of that. Going out to the garage to hook it up right now. When I first got my Ranger I disliked the Auto Stop Start feature enough I bought one of the plug-in devices to over ride it...
  11. Dealership adjusted my tire pressure.

I’m not a gear head so this is very helpful! Mine clearly states 35 PSI but I never tow and truth being told since I’m retired I don’t drive it much either. 7000 miles in 21 months. But I have noticed that the steering tends to lane float so I may do the chalk test and lower the PSI a little to...
  12. Dealership adjusted my tire pressure.

What am I missing, my 19 Ranger says 35 PSI on the door sticker for the tires. Why the difference? Mine is a 4x2 with factory tow package. Please enlighten me.
  13. Any Electricians in the house?

I’m a retired electrician and what you’ve been told is correct except for the GFCI comment. Ground not required for proper GFCI operation. as far as your track light connection goes if you were using a end feed track connector with a romex connector a box isn’t needed. The ground wire from...
  14. Anyone hit the magic 100k mileage yet?

Retirement truck, paid cash, 2019 XLT 6600 miles bought it off the dealers lot in Feb 2020. I may have that many miles on my New Balance walking shoes I bought about the same time. Only recall was to check the climate fan motor. Hoping the gas and oil issue will iron itself out tho. Oil...
  15. Ordered a New Ranger. After reading about the numerous problems on this Forum I am not sure I made a good choice.

I sold my 2009 F150 work truck and bought the 2019 Ranger in early 2020 after I retired. My Ranger spends most of its time in the garage and doesn’t have many miles on it, <7000. I throughly love my ranger and would get another if something happened to this one. Only concern I’m keeping an...
  16. Spare Key 2019 Ford Ranger

I read somewhere that there is a limit on the number of active keys a automobile can program and it seems like the number was 3. If so then I’d be at the limit since I have 2 factory keys and a factory keypad. Anyone know if that’s true?
  17. Spare Key 2019 Ford Ranger

This thread made me think I should look for my code. Found it! It was floating around in the bottom of the glove box. Not sure where to put it now, keep it in the truck or up with the spare key. Almost makes sense to keep it in the truck but at the same time maybe not. I did make note of it...
  18. Brakes failed!

    My thoughts exactly!
  19. Rokblokz, crash bars.

Thanks for your input. I thought I had the mud flap thing figured out since weather tech makes some decent products. I’m not a off road person but get into some muck occasionally when camping. I wanted the flaps to knock down the dirt, snow and mud that fly’s up on my front doors and running...
  20. Rokblokz, crash bars.

I’m considering mud flaps for my 2019 ranger and was looking at the weather tech but after reading your post it gives me pause. If you don’t mind I’d like to know what the problem with weather tech was what makes this brand better? Paul
