totally agree with you on this, my rear camera is mounted low so it does get a bit blown out from that position. Its only when a car is right up on me really its not that bad.
I chaged up my bed storage set up so selling this set up. Local pick up in Los Angeles only.
Passenger full side built right molle panels with mounting hardware, quick fist + risers and molle mounting tab $250

Wow glad to hear you and truck are ok from the impact. I grew up in Illinois and every thangsgiving seemed to be all the relatives stories of the deer they hit driving over for thanksgiving dinner.
I brought it in to the dealer for an oil service and a early trans fluid change (44k miles). Ive only got 2 more payments left on the truck so I walked the lot a bit out of curiosity. The sticker on a new Ranger Rapter was 76k! Im very pleased with my Ranger and no payments is looking really...
I wanted to follow up on my Wolfbox install. I was the lucky winner of a Tripro 900 from the Christmas giveaway. I’ll spare most of the install details since others here have already done a great job documenting the process.
My install dragged out over almost 2 months. Not because anything was...
@DukeCanBuildit not sure if you updated the firmware but there were some nice features added that mine didn't have out of the box such as being able to choose what info is always on screen, option of 2 or 3 views in split screen mode and trigger word for voice commands.
Awesome review, @DukeCanBuildit! Thanks for taking the time to put together such an in-depth install thread—it’s been incredibly helpful.
I’m almost finished with my install now. I just need to settle on a mirror mount solution I’m happy with and then hardwire everything. There was a bit of a...
Agreed, I'm giving up on the adapter. I think there may be a bit of vibration in my camera mount too but its hard to tell with the mirror mount not holding properly
I reinstalled the adapter and took extra care, but it still has a slight amount of play. I might give it a third attempt or try a different approach.
I’ve been doing a dry fit for the past few days to see how I like the mirror and camera placement. I still have a view from the optical mirror...
i spoke too soon, there the SLIGHTEST amount of play in the adapter and when the truck idles it amplifies to a wild vibration in the mirror vision.
Also I noticed my fuse #27 Is tapped already for my trigger six, not sure how to navigate this. I’m running out of patience and burning the little...
Thanks for the tips, a work glove and some commitment make quick work of the stock mirror removal. The adapter was a PITA but with your tips it wasn’t horrible. I’m gonna drive around a bit without installing the top molding piece and make sure I like the mount and placement before I break out...
I too have the skinny mirror, since I have the adapter I’ll give it a go but if my patience wears thin maybe I’ll just fall back on the piggy back method.
@TDF017 is there a trick to getting the stock mirror mount off? i keep trying to rotate it (quarter turn CCW) but im afraid to apply more pressure and break something its not budging at all  Theres gotta be something im missing.
Ive got the master tailgater adapter and Dremel...
For those that have replaced oem bulbs will a h11 from the auto parts store match the passenger or is it best to purchase a pair and replace both and keep the passenger bulb that still works as a spare?
I'm planning out my tripo install and I was wondering what others opinions are on camera placement. I have a soft topper currently so interior mounting wouldn't be ideal. I'm thinking license plate mount or see if there's room under the tailgate handle that doesn't get in the way of releasing...
