got my 3" lift put in finally! 5100's front and rear, eibach lift springs, and RC UCAs. She just needs some new boots soon ?? had it done locally by a guy in a ranger fb page. He's a super chill guy and did a great job. Would definitely recommend if anyone is local in the Phoenix az area.

Thanks for the reply, but yes I believe Android auto does some funky things in comparison to carplay. I miss my iPhone lol. But I have had issues besides this one with my entertainment system, just this time I actually got video proof of it to show the tech. Thanks again

Did that cause any damage, besides maybe some brake wear? I tried backing up yesterday and realized I had the e brake on ? I maybe went a couple inches and realized it was on. Minimal in comparison, but it's my baby and I wanna make sure no damage was done lol.

Called stage 3 and spoke to Lou. He said that the drilling of the knuckle is for the aluminum versions. RC just never updated the instructions for the steel knuckle, so it appears that it isn't necessary to drill with the steel knuckles.

These are the closest angled pictures I could find on the web. Not sure how much that helps, but maybe it gives an idea of the upper mount hole?

Good point, I didn't consider that the springs might just add to the 2.5 height on the bilstein struts. I've had the struts for about 2 ish months now, I'll have to see if they're still within the return window.

That was my initial thought of doing. But then was told by a buddy who has done a lot of suspension work that adding springs would create a better ride, which I'm also after. What if I set the 5100s to the 2.5 setting with the 3" eibach springs to sort of help with the ride quality?

I see, thanks for that info. I'll probably be looking close to a 3.25 lift since I just have a 2wd, I dont believe I have a diff to drop in my case. But lower ball joint/control arms may be recommended in the future for this application?

Unfortunately I may have to do just that. I'll call the stage3 customer support to ask before doing so. Just incase it's not a necessary step.

I will have to double check the bit size, but it was not a step/tapered bit. Just a single straight size. It sound scary and foolish to do that ?
