I tried searching this issue and came up with nothing. Could you provide links on this situation?
The dpfe is on the exhaust side. That would be a lot of water going through your engine to get to the dpfe. It's amazing it didn't hydrolock.
Btw.. I live in south Louisiana. I've been through...
If it's not a fuel pump or injector issue then it might be as simple as driving it more. Its a 2019 with 14k but it's also 6 years old. So at minimum if you changed it yearly, as you should due to time, then thats 5 to 6 oil changes.
The oil needs to reach operating temp and be driven long...
I've noticed the rear driver wheel is much more planted now when I launch it. I'm worried it might eventually cause my frame to twist.
I need to install one on the passenger side to balance it.
I promise you if I would have paid full price, I would have been outside all day, if needed, to find a way to make it fit and Google search my butt off.
I bought this for $20 with it in my mind that I'm either getting scammed or it's the wrong part. I swear man.. I gave it like 5mins and I...
I bought it brand new in the box for $20, guy sold his truck and trying to get rid of it. So I just gave up pretty easily. Lmao. I just tossed it up there few times and it didn't fit .. "oh well I only paid $20 for it." I put it back in the box and went back inside.
He also sold me a brand new...
OMG I AM A FREAKING MORON! LMAO
I saw the two threaded holes to the left and the one threaded hole in the back, in the Pic, and I thought that's where it would bolt down to. I didn't even see the front one! I was so dang confused.
As soon as I seen your Pic my jaw dropped and I ran outside.
I bought this off someone local that had it listed as a 2019-2023 ford ranger engine cover. Took it out the box and it looked like an engine cover and so I bought it.
Unfortunately it does not fit. Pipe/hose on the front of the engine gets in the way. The part # on the box is L1MZ-6A949-A and...
I never liked it and it's why I got a tune right after buying the Ranger.
It's pointless in trying to get my wife to push the button in her pilot everytime she gets in it. I'd love to get it disabled without having warranty issues.
I've been thinking it over, probably better just find a used 2022 transmission or just get a shop to rebuild mine.
It doesn't seem to hard replacing the cdf drum but idk if I could do everything else. I've never rebuilt a transmission.
Ya Ya Ya.. I was feeling pretty confident about my Transmission with having high miles and zero issues.
One option I have in mind is to buy that upgraded cdf drum I seen posted somewhere on here. Though it might not be the cdf and could be a torque converter issue. Probably just end up buying...
Background:
2021 Ranger xlt 2wd@110k. Did the first fluid drain, refill and filter change at 77k. I have had a livernois tune since the beginning of ownership. The trans never gave me any major issues. It had its rare quirks.. Ie.. Shift hard to reverse and park, and a hiccup here and there. I...
