Exactly what I think too. Ford does really well overseas with the Ranger, but they don't seem to have any interest in selling them in NA. Why? Only they know as they never mention the Ranger.

I believe the op said he's never had this happen before. Same for me: I've been driving 50 years and never had back brakes go out at 40k. I'm certain my driving habits didn't make my back brakes go out while my front brakes were still ok. Something else is to blame. IMO
