Yeah, I would take that! Had them on my 72' Chevy P/U and loved how it directed the outside air right at your upper body......but, I may be a little old school, and laugh at the tailgate dampeners too!

Hers's another option, get a Bedrug tailgate protector that attaches with the supplied 3M velcro fasteners, then buy the same 3M velcro fastener for whatever solid thin board that you would like to use. That way, you could switch the two out in seconds when needed? No drilling into the tailgate...
Yeah, that is pretty cool on that Highway 10 Atchafalaya bridge to Baton Rouge. Had an airboat below stay with me for a 1/4 mile or so, then disappeared into the cypress trees. But, that is one damn bumpy bridge!
