  1. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Slapped on the rear Rokblokz after work. That being said, these things are nice - but, I could never imagine paying full price for them. Not sure what they’re made of to cost what they do. But, they sure better last. Final visual bits are coming together. Just need to schedule a front tint.
  2. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Getting there. Lemme get the rears installed…
  3. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Oh yeah, I installed the driver side seat jackers after I got it back from the dealer on Friday. They replaced the driver side seat cushion under warranty since the seam was splitting after only owning it for 2 months. Pretty happy they covered that considering it came with 28k on the clock...
  4. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Dang! That’s great. I didn’t realize the 10R80 has factory sensors. That’s great news. I was considering wiring one to the PPE pan…
  5. Installed PPE transmission pan

Pretty sure the transfer case uses Mercon LV - not, ULV.
  6. What did you do to your Ranger today?

âś… Ready Lift Rear Intrusion Bars (fronts were done 2 weeks ago) âś… Tremor Fender Flares âś… Rokbloks XL Mudflaps (only got to the fronts) âś… Tapped side marker wires to connect the backlight in the Diode Dynamics Elite Series Fogs (just need to pull the air dams back off and connect). Another solid...
  7. What did you do to your Ranger today?

The transmission has a temp sensor from factory or you had to add one for it to display?
  8. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Alright, got a solid read after a 2 hour drive. It was down at the 5.5!! Poured in about 14 oz so far. That seemed to have brought it up to 4.5. But, the fluid I put in was cold and it was dark and pouring rain. It was hard to get a good read with the fluid in the hose. The ease of maintenance...
  9. Ford performance oil separator issue

I’m interested to see an update after winter miles - but, this guy ran both UPR and FP in his 2.3L Bronco:
  10. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

I’ve read about this transmission extensively at this point. I’m not adjusting until I can get a solid read after a long drive. But, I was confused as to why the cold levels were so different. But, correct me if I’m wrong - the cold levels should be around 2-3 (but not an exact measurement) and...
  11. What did you do to your Ranger today?

MBS Transmission Dipstick (thanks to Mike @Fitzmotor ) + @Diode Dynamics Elite Series Amber Fog Lights. Solid day!
  12. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Alright, took it for a spin (not nearly up to full operational temps) for 10 miles (but, under 50). It’s at the top of the 4. Assuming that will drop a bit more when at temp. I’m honestly stumped on why it appeared so low on the MBS stick when it was initially checked cold. I’ll check again...
  13. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Install was a breeze. Cracking the plug was pretty dang easy from the wheel well with a long swivel head ratchet. Honestly, the hardest part for me was threading on the locknut because I wanted to avoid the u-nut here in NY. They’ll be throwing salty brine all over the roads any day now. Two...
  14. Blackstone UOA results on factory 9-10k mile OCI

Yeah, I bought an extended warranty up to 100k as well. They mentioned sodium would be high too if it was coolant? I’m going to reassess after the next oil change + analysis. This way I have a better understanding since now I know what actually went into the motor.
  15. Blackstone UOA results on factory 9-10k mile OCI

First oil change since ownership (30k miles). Assuming they used Motorcraft 5w30 since it was dealer changed - but, who knows? Some weird high metal numbers. Assuming it’s due to additives. I stuck with Motorcraft oil for this change because I have a few pre-paid changes rolling over from our...
  16. Back-to-back Blackstone Lab reports w/Motorcraft 5W-30 vs. Amsoil

First oil change since ownership (30k miles). Assuming they used Motorcraft 5w30 since it was dealer changed - but, who knows? I stuck with Motorcraft oil for this change because I have a few pre-paid changes rolling over from our 2016 Transit. I noticed in the report that they also put in BG...
  17. Last two Blackstone oil reports

First oil change since ownership. Assuming they used Motorcraft 5w30 since it was dealer changed - but, who knows? I stuck with that oil for this change because I have a few pre-paid changes rolling over from our 2016 Transit. I noticed in the report that they also put in BG MOA additive and...
  18. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Oh weird. I can't imagine in any situation on why you would want the rear lifted. I use both blocks and get the max lift out of the front. It's a game changer for me. Results may vary for others.
  19. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Does it assist in “polishing” or something?
  20. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Second intrusion bar install was a breeze. Learned from my mistakes during the first attempt. Took all of about 30-40 minutes (including setup/cleanup) instead of two hours and a few choice words. 7” cut wheel + removing the front skirt/mud flap thing made for easy after work project before the...
