  1. Welcome Back Tracy!

Welcome back, Tracy! I thought perhaps it was something I said, or perhaps I need to wear more deodorant, but I am glad to hear it was neither of those. This forum is much better with you than without you.
  2. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

We moved my father-in-law out of assisted living and into our home this past weekend which required about 6 round trips with my truck completely full of boxes and furniture. Renting a van or trailer would have made for fewer trips, but it was nice not having to stick to a specific schedule and...
  3. Got a splash-snow editon

Aw, man. I was hoping this was a Game of Throne tie-in. ? Congratulations on the new truck. Very cool!
  4. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I agree. Most of my highway driving is from north Texas to northern Oklahoma, and there’s not much in the way of terrestrial radio in between. There is much more than just music. I bought a lifetime subscription to Sirius back in 2004, and it costs something like $30 to transfer it between...
  5. What did you do to your Ranger today?

If I were doing any kind of off-roading, I would remove the drop steps for sure, but for day to say use, they are great. It took longer to unpack the steps than it did to swap the step. I bet I could remove all 4 in less than 3 minutes with my electric impact driver.
  6. What did you do to your Ranger today?

A few weeks ago, I realized that I had received a mis-matched set of drop steps for my GoRhino RB10 running boards. GoRhino sent me a full replacement set which also helps me replace the steps that had exposed metal despite the ridiculously thorough packaging materials they in which they were...
  7. How long did your stock tires last on your Ranger?

Those Michelins are fantastic tires. I would put them on my Tremor even though they are less off-road oriented than the General Grabber ATX tires that it came with. If only @Discount Tire would offer me a sweet deal on a swap... ?
  8. Protecting Your Truck While Modding / Maintenance / Repairs

Be careful. I foolishly wore the Dickie's coveralls "topless" and ended up with bloody nipples. Not a pretty sight. ?
  9. Protecting Your Truck While Modding / Maintenance / Repairs

Solid choices. I have started wearing mechanic's gloves for most work and Venom Steel Nitrile Gloves for any greasy work. Both definitely help some with grip security, but I still drop stuff far too often. ...
  10. Protecting Your Truck While Modding / Maintenance / Repairs

Now there's an idea! Is there a painting of Elvis on the back?
  11. Protecting Your Truck While Modding / Maintenance / Repairs

Thought we might have a bit of fun and talk about how you protect your truck from damage while working in it, such as performing maintenance, doing mods or repairs. What do you use? Fender covers? Moving blankets? Coveralls? Any cool tips or tricks? What got me wondering is that I bought a...
  12. Adaptive cruise sensitivity

Is this based upon the window sticker date or the blend date on the door? My window sticker is in this date range, but the date on the door is after this.
  13. Adaptive cruise sensitivity

Although the OP may already have enough feedback, I went from a 2018 Volvo XC60 to my Ranger, and although the Volvo would go full start / stop with ACC, the Ranger is MUCH BETTER at ACC than the Volvo. The Ranger slows more smoothly and accelerates less aggressively than the Volvo in the same...
  14. Richard Hammond's Dream Car

He clearly needs a tailgate damper ??‍♂️
  15. Ford Order Name-Match Policy Is Getting More Strict

I am amazed at the level of bad behavior that Ford and other manufacturers accept from their dealers. I was so turned off by the several Ford dealers I dealt with when looking for a Tremor that I nearly gave up. Selling above MSRP is one thing, but I had dealers not disclose this until we...
  16. Texas WTB: Factory Carpet Floor mats to fit 2021 Ranger Crew Cab

Thanks, @paval3. Yes, I checked behind the seats. I bought my Tremor used with 3K miles, and the previous owner sold it to me with the rubber floor mats. The PO was the General Manager at the Ford dealership, and he wasn't sure if he had the carpet floor mats in his garage at home or if they...
