It will be interesting to see what they do, the shifting had become so bad, like it was losing line pressure over time, all the shift points just kept getting higher and higher until it just wouldn't shift unless I lifted, or gave it throttle then lifted.
I hope it's not one of those things...
I was checking my truck in the dealer this week, transmission issues of course, I used to work there, so I ask my advisor/buddy about the TSB on the valve body and the CDF drum, he promptly responds, "oh you mean that?" points to one under his desk he uses as a foot rest, they are all bad he...
So, I tried Fedex instead of UPS, I have had UPS rough a lot of stuff up, but it looks like they both can be as equally rough.
It's a crap shoot, a poorly boxed package can show up fine and a tough box can get mangled
You just have to know what the box size and the weight is, all the shippers have online quoting, UPS, Fedex, USPS, you just punch in the address, weight and size, they will give you a instant quote.
Be sure to measure it properly, if it is even 1/8"-1/4" over the dimension you put in, they will...
The bar code is on the label, it must have been damaged or something, Pacoima is close to me, that would be it's first stop.
Quite a few of the tubes have been damaged, fortunately the stick itself is fine.
That explains the sudden increase in request, I'm not sure what your response is to them, but tell them to post their interest here, not to PM or DM me, thanks!
Thank you very much for being a customer and the positive input!
Wow, that's like a Phil wisdom?
I do agree, I have seen a lot of unexpected side effects from raising and lowering, some dangerous.
But... I can't talk, I'm the guy who bought a Tremor and lowered the back to level it.
I just picked up the component I have been missing to build more, now I actually have enough to make 125 of them, up to now it's been small batches of 25-40 of them. I am going to stockpile them and then launch the website, at least that is the plan, the whole website thing is out of my skill...
That’s the final tube version I hope, UPS sure exercised their “shipping policy “ on me over the tubes with reinforcement's on the outside!
Let me know what you think of the dipstick upgrade!
My SYNC stays on until the BCM shuts it down, or whatever module it is, it does this half of the time.
But my SYNC is crap, on it's 4th AIPM I have to reboot it almost every drive.
I had to get creative, I bonded and stapled the wood strip inside the tube to keep UPS happy, I have to thank Grumpaw for the wood furring strips idea, at first I did not want to try it, but in the end it worked best?
Thanks Grumpaw!
That can be normal, the overload is there just for that, but if the load exceeds the spring rating then the overload does most of the work, but the name says it all.
The springs can heavily lay on the overloads, but if the spring lays on the ends of the overload and still droops down, so the...
I'm on my 4th AIPM, the SYNC in my truck is so bad I have to reboot it every time I drive it, it wont update, it's really malfunctioning, going in next week to the dealer!
Hey, you guys on the replacement sticks, I hit another shipping snag, everything was fine, I was bonding a 3/4" wood strip to the outside of the tube to strengthen it, then tapping over it in MBS tape so the wood was covered, shipped quite a few sticks no problem, tube was in tact when...
