Posted this in another thread not that long ago but it applies here..
I’m going to suggest avoiding this one. I have it and while the idea is awesome, the benefits don’t out weigh the drawbacks for the cost.
First is the cost, for under a 100 bucks you’ll get the same storage if not more out...
Naaa I’d give them a solid 3/5 stars purely on a good idea and great build quality. A slight redesign could solve the latch mechanism and switching to a lighter material would be a game changer.
Honestly if you don’t mind the weight it’s a solid buy as long as the cost doesn’t matter to you.

Id suggest getting a light colored dash cover if your goal is to reduce cab heat. That big window and black dash generates a serious amount of internal cab heat in the sun.
I ordered mine angled as I wanted them fairly flush with the cab. They barely stick out enough to use as a step. I’d suggest putting grip tape on the top if you actually need to use them as a step.
I now understand why these cost so much to ship. A nice little reminder I should probably start hitting the gym as I about put my back out carrying this to the garage.
Finally got around to installing the RCI transmission and transfer skid plates since I did the gas tank skid this morning. I posted the gas tank skid pic in the wrong thread earlier so figured I post this one in the correct spot.
With all the talk of transmission issues, I’m slightly nervous...
The stock skid is just plastic so the RCI is providing better puncture resistance. Not aware of anyone actually having a problem gouging or puncturing their tank but it’s a just another way to waste money.
While I experienced this as well, I was able to over come it with a nice dash cover. I got a carhart looking one. The light brown was a night and day diff on pulling/putting off heat.
