    Cut 4 1/4 inches off the pipe so tip would be in original position. Wasn't clamped as tight as I would have liked so put a 3/16 rivet thru mounting surface for insurance. Probably not needed but oh well......

    I used 2, 6x16 mm stainless washer head bolts. Worked fine and Dealer charged me 33.00 for the cover.

    Normal for spare to be a different size. I think mine is a 255/70/16. It's intended for temp use and they can save another buck.
