This transmission is being used in a lot of Ford’s fleet. I don’t think we all need to have doom and gloom about its future. The true lesson here is to not baby it or drive it like an old man as demonstrated by @Msfitoy :giggle: - instead, put the pedal to floor and enjoy!

Are you using Sport mode? Are you accidentally hitting the manual shift buttons on the shifter? If you tap these twice it goes into manual and can appear to be stuck in a gear.

Charleston, SC is a very nice area with low cost of living and mild winters. People are generally friendly in the American Southeast. I live near Raleigh, NC and love it here.

Added the FP grille and swapped my Lariat Raptor style lights for the FP Raptor lights. The Lariat grille version lights would not have lined up with open holes on the FP grille. I’m very pleased with the more aggressive look of the FP grille. Before: After:

Installed the lower grille last night from mountains2metal. High quality and secure in place - looks very nice in-person. Tomorrow I’m planning to install the Ford Performance grille.

I was impressed that it’s metal and feels fairly heavy duty.
