Paul,
There are 2 pages in the Owners Manual related to the fuel funnel. Read it, Know It, Live It. :like:
Owners Manual, Page 143:
Note: Do not use aftermarket funnels as
they may not work with the capless fuel
system and can damage it.
Might be directly related to your driving habits. No I'm not blaming you, but that just seems odd that your 3 for 3?
As to a class action lawsuit... do you have first hand knowledge, or have you read any accounts, of any engine failures directly related to fuel dilution on a 2019+ Ranger...
Same question to them.. Blocking airflow.... will that be a issue for the radiator / intercooler long term?
Lot's of folks selling stuff.. Don't confuse that with meaning it won't create an issue.
There is a rear differential skid plate, made for a Jeep, that fits our Ranger, since the Jeep and our Fords use the same dana diff. Here's a thread: Rough Country Rear Differential Skid Plate Works!
Use this as a guide but remember the 5" long bolts that go through the frame.... if you torque those to the specification below... you'll crush the frame. Seriously..
Bolt Identification, Bolthead Markings, Bolt Torque Specs
Fining folks that do this isn't working. Confiscating their rigs and some public shaming might work.
You know all the festivals that are held in the various cities? Set up some medieval stocks and lock the folks in them for a day of public humiliation..... maybe even have some rotten...
For real, you're going to cut access holes in your frame? Just call Shrockworks, have them overnight some stick nuts to you.
Nothing wrong with stick nuts. And if you bend the stick portion and trim the length they end up looking ok too.

I thought the PO found some cut wires with electrical tape wrapped around it, in the wheel well, of his truck that he bought used?
So why are folks still bashing Ford on this?
Ignorance is no excuse in these days of a world of information at your fingertips.
Tailgates had chains up through 70's.
Stepside Tailgate Components
1957-72 F100 Shortbed
1957-72 F100 F250 Longbed
1972 F-100
Sure you can compare them fairly.
Factor in the cost of living today vs 20 years ago. Then using that factor, if the trucks today are less money than they were 20 years ago, your case would hold water. That's simply not the case.
