When the dealer places the order with Ford, you will get a "Confirmation Email" from Ford immediately/same day. But the dealer needs to use your email in order for the Ford emails to come to you. Do you know if the dealer used your email or theirs?
My plan is to go in with an approved rate. Apply a few days before taking delivery and see what they can do to beat the APR. Unless Ford is doing a 0% but I guess we will see down the road.
The dealer is still making money, even at the under invoice price. They wouldn't offer it if they were...
Seen this in the Jeep world, you never get back what you put into your rig. Best bet is strip it down back to stock the best you can, trade in, and sell the parts on the side.
My initial order (even received a Production Date) had a deposit with Dealer A. Then found Dealer B with a below invoice price on new orders. Placed an order (still waiting on Production Date). No deposit required. Canceled Dealer A order and did receive my deposit back fortunately.
Exactly. I'm disappointed I don't have a Production Date and sucks to see current dates getting pushed but I'm being positive and patient. Bright side, bigger down payment ?
These delays were discussed in another thread.
But my original order (which I actually canceled last week), ordered 1/12, received production date of 3/7 on 1/20, was also bumped to 3/14.
My new and current order, on 1/24, I'm still waiting for a production date.
That talks about Thursday February 3rd (which was yesterday), no Rangers would be selected for scheduling. We knew this last Friday. No update yet for 6 days from now, Thursday, February 10th. Should see a post by tonight, I would hope.
I was looking for a used full size truck back in Sept/Oct '21, Ram Rebel. Test drove a few but couldn't agree on a price since dealers were not budging. Plus they were low balling me on my JKU trade in value.
The next month I start seeing used prices above MSRP. ABOVE!! So a 3 year old truck...
