  3. Long term reliability of the 2.3

Also something to take into consideration, would you smell gas in the oil if you weren’t trying to smell for it? Seems a lot of the times when you are searching for something like this you will smell fuel in oil even if there is none.. not to mention aren’t oil and gas both petroleum products...
  4. Long term reliability of the 2.3

Fun fact. Suzuki motorcycles and atv’s back in the early 2000’s to even now have automatic fuel valves for the carburetor equipped models. They operate off of engine vacuum and when they fail (roughly every 5 years or so) fuel dumps into the crankcase mixing with oil. Most people are oblivious...

  14. 33s...would you do it again?

Nope ran them for about 5000 miles and went back to 6 ply 31” mud terrains. I would have a set of 33’s on separate wheels for off-roading only as this is what I use my 31” mud terrains for and stock tires and wheels for normal driving

Nice rig! Just rolled over 30k on my 19’
  16. Current F150 owner looking to trade for ranger. Or should I wait ?

The mechanical side of me cringes thinking about having to work on a 2.7 shoved in a Ranger. Would be awesome but I would pass lol
  17. Current F150 owner looking to trade for ranger. Or should I wait ?

Sounds like the ranger would be a good switch for you sooner than later. I’m getting 23-24 mpg mountainous driving 60-65 mph. Stock tires and wheels are what keeps the fuel mileage up. Aftermarket offset wheels that stick out farther, and oversized tires seem to be the death of fuel economy for...

  20. Well, thanks to the Carvana thread I ended up doing this...

Wow! Very nice! Do I get some sort of thread starting fee for this? Just a little cut of the pie? Haha just kidding. That’s awesome. Thinking about doing something similar myself but then I think about the money I’ve spent on mods, switching back over stock parts.. all that non sense. Meh too lazy
