With the whole abs grabbing the tire that spins system a locker really isn’t that great, yes it’s better but minimally. I took my 4x4 non rear locker in about 2 1/2’ of powder last year and I tried to get it stuck but couldn’t. The 4x4 system is amazing

You likely went to a much heavier tire setup. That’s your main loss of fuel economy. I did the same thing.. but ended up going back to stock tires

This transmission is way underwhelmed for this truck. Considering Mustang GT’s and F-150’s use the same tranny. I wouldn’t worry about overheating even in 120 degree weather towing 7000 pounds uphill. That’s just my opinion
