  1. Driver's Side A-Pillar Grab Handle

I seem to recall that someone tried to install either an EU or Australian LH grab handle & w/shield trim and it didn't fit or not properly. The A-pillar is different on NA models and the handle wouldn't bolt up or something. It has little or nothing to do with the side curtain deployment. Go...
  2. 180,000 Mile Service 2019 Ranger

I would start over at 30,000 miles with the Maintenance Schedule in the FordPass app or p.416 of the Owners Manual. The schedule ends at 150,000, you have 180,000, so pick up at the 30,000mi mark. You could use whatever schedule you've been using; in my case I change oil & filter & rotate tires...
  3. 180,000 Mile Service 2019 Ranger

I congratulate you on your epic milage, Chris. I have 84K on my 2021 and just completed most of the 150K maintenance, and will again before my extended warrranty expires. My BIL had a 2002 Ranger. He put 256,000 on it in 17 years working on the railroad (cue the harmonica). He finally let it...
  4. Something I think we all realize... Planned obsolescence.

...And they each have their own version of shifting problems...
  5. Something I think we all realize... Planned obsolescence.

Ford World Headquarters, affectionately known as "The Glass House."
  6. Fuel range when topped off has lowered significantly

Yeah I do that around home. Where I fill up usually, is on the top of a hill and I live 1 1/2 miles almost all downhill ~5% grade, 45mph posted. I reset at the pump and get up to 50mph before the start of the grade, and my personal best is 35.4 avg mpg to my driveway
  7. Fuel range when topped off has lowered significantly

Do you reset one or more trip odometers each fuel up? I reset Trip 1 each tankful, Trip 2 each oil change ~6,000mi, and the Fuel Economy choice has never ben reset since the truck was new. If you had a gas guzzling trip (like 80mph up elevation westbound in SD),range can drop into the mid-200's...
  8. Are you happy with your Ranger poll?

I guess my 10R80 was built when Mssrs. Ford and Farley were watching it being assembled on a field day to the plant. It's been trouble free after I had the trans. software reflashed. I just had the fluid replaced at 84K, along with all the rest of the fluids and tires rotated and rebalanced.
  9. I did a thing

I have Ford Digital Experience in my 2025 Explorer; not a fan. The sync3 in my Ranger has its shortcomings, but much simpler and more intuitive than FDE.
  10. How many people had to take it back for warranty repairs?

Just read this. Have you tried pulling the seatbelt out all the way? If It has a twist in it it will stick in the retractor.
  11. How many miles on your 2.3L EcoBoost

83,538 mi on mine. It's going in for fluids on June 12, all of 'em; "if you can pour it, change it:" Works Pkg, 4WD pkg, Trans, Brake fluid, and of course blinker fluid. Plus cabin air filter and tire balance. 30Kmi on the Cooper Discoverer AT3's and good tread life so far, but I have a tiny...
  12. How many people had to take it back for warranty repairs?

Take the screwdriver out of your pocket!
  13. Are you happy with your Ranger poll?

83,523 mi on my 2021 STX FX4. I checked mostly yes at first, (went back and changed to yes) because I have grown tired of the suicide door supercab. Very awkward to get things in or out in a confined space like my garage. But that's my problem, not the truck's. I have done virtually all...
  14. 2019 Ranger with 265 60 18 Wildpeaks

51 psi is the maximum pressure the tire was designed to operate safely. 30 psi is the recommended pressure for the stock size tire, which you have. If you were to inflate to 51 psi, you may run the risk of a blowout or tread separation in hot conditions and/or heavy payload. Tires pressure can...
  15. Rear window vinyl decals - state flag

I've ordered a decal and a state flag trailer hitch cover for my Ranger from Military Best.com. Very good selection of military first responder and national & state interest merch. High quality and prompt shipping.
  16. Tow mode all the time?

Ford seems to think so, that is why it is a separate shift strategy from the regular one. I think the regular shift pattern was designed for EPA milage first, and drivability second. Also the reason there are twice as many gears as are needed. I know very little about tunes, but if there was one...
