Around here if you see a pickup screwing up traffic by going slow uphill in the left lane you could make good money betting it's a taco. You would think the owners would learn to put their foot down a little more when you come to a hill.......then I realized they have it FLOORED.
You can just loosen the bolts that hold them in, push it for as much clearance as you can get and then tighten them back up. You could possibly get 1/4 inch..... or none.
Kinda.....it's not your normal satellite dish, it's a phased array inside that " dish " they provide. You have to remember, the starlink satellites are NOT geosynchronous, they fly by constantly so the array has to be able " see " a fairly large chunk of sky to track them.
Here's a neat...
Yeah, the FX4 stuff is not what I'd call and upgrade, mine are leaned up against the wall. If you are heading up near Sacramento anytime soon you can have them for nothing.
I bought a 2019 demo almost exactly the same as what you describe about 6 months ago other than mine has the black package too.
I got it for 28,5 before tax&lic, you can do better than what they are asking for that one.
I have the Ford Fox kit, if I didn't have the money to spring for it I'd certainly go Bilstein, I've used their products on several different vehicles and they have ALWAYS performed as advertised.
I really like the look of the trucks with the black package ( I have a blue one ), Everything else is body colored. None of that magnetic stuff randomly spread about. That red looks fantastic.
I feel your pain waiting for parts, it was three and a half months for my sliders to show.
The first lockdown was heaven for us riders, I'd go out all day on my favorite roads that were EMPTY. It just doesn't get any better.
Your truck is pretty much ready to go for some fairly good off road as is. You should however have some self ( and shared ) recovery/repair gear. Bare minimum I'd want to be able to plug a tire and refill it on the off chance you get a flat more than once. It's also handy to air down a bit...
I purchased the Falkens, Have about 5k miles on them now. I really like them. Ran them up to the snow yesterday to test them out a bit and they are really good there.
USAF Reserves 86-92, Airframe, Travis for the weekends and Okinawa, The PI and Guam ( all 3 twice ) for my 2 week vacations. :like: 10 years as a park ranger.
