I just got around to installing and WTF. Everything works as advertised EXCEPT the driver's window is wired backwards! I one-touch down, the window goes up. I one-touch up, the window goes down.
And the worst part. I lock the car and driver's window rolls down. It doesn't matter how I lock it...
I found this thread while preparing to install these on my 22 Tremor. I biased both RC brackets inboard before torquing them down. That took care of the left/right hole alignment. Then a few gentle taps on the back of the brackets with 4 lb hammer fixed the fore/aft alignment. No skid plate mods...
The sales guy was great. They honored the 'A' plan without any markup and I got an unexpected $1000.00 rebate. Then I had to deal with the finance guy. He verbally matched the APR my credit union was offering then presented the final payment info that was way off. I'm no rocket surgeon, but I...
336 miles. Historically, my dealer receives Rangers and Broncos via carrier truck. No railcars.
I feel your pain. As I recall, you ordered yours a little before I did. I can only guess that you ordered from a smaller dealer with few allocations. I wish I had influence over the company's...
It's here! Without any shipping warning, my truck was delivered to the dealer last night. I managed a few pre-PDI photos this morning on my way to work. I should take it home tonight or tomorrow.
My truck went from "Sent to Plant" to "Produced" to "Released" all in one day. Fingers cross I get that ship notification soon. BTW, no corporate email updates yet.
Ah yes, it's on the Internet so it must be true. Automotive Engineers see the craziest assumptions about production. Blend date simply means the date that it is scheduled to be built. The body shop will start assembling the sheet metal parts on that date. I don't know where term "blend date"...
Sweet pics of a sweet ride. Here's one more after the cab & box were decked on the frame. It's now undergoing quality checks before being thrown into the black hole of shipping.
My "build date" was yesterday and, like clockwork, the body shop started assembly yesterday. It got painted overnight, and is now heading down the line. So body and final assembly are happening on day shifts and not on a Monday or Friday. 'Tis a good omen.
