  1. What did Santa bring you for your Ranger?

Welp...... Santa blessed me with the ability to work remote, so I packed up for a little over a month, and went to visit my folks in California......... That early Christmas present got me extra help to install my raptor grill and Eibach coilovers The big dude in red works his magic all...
  2. OME lift finally on

Looks good @futat2 Just curious, but what chase rack are you running with what bed cover? Any conflicts with the two? Been wanting a chase rack/sport bars and have the Ford branded tri-fold
  3. Any regrets buying an XLT over a Lariat???

Rocking an XLT 302A, and I think the only thing I miss is the factory LEDs.... Thing is, I had push button start on my Audi. Push button Start felt natural, because that thing was a little ripper. On the truck, where I don't feel like I am sitting in a jet fighter cockpit, I could care less...
  4. New member from Wyoming

Saying hello from the CO Front Range! If you find yourself in Fort Collins, feel free to drop a line
  5. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

Not today (yesterday), and not in the mail, but local pickup deal on a Ranger Raptor grill. $75 and a trip to the north side of Denver later Set of Sealight LED lowbeams and Alla Lighting switchback turn signals arrived from the Zon yesterday. Will need to use FORScan to disable the...
  6. Colorado WTS Fox 2.0 Kit + Tremor Leafs

Ugh..... If I didn't have Bilstein 6112s on order, I would probably jump on this.... Good luck with the sale dude! Heck of a deal right there
  7. Oil Catch Can. Yes or No?

On the 22's, they relocate one of the fittings to the top of the Intake Manifold, and then the hose that runs to the can, iirc, hooks into a hose coming from down lower somewhere. UPR redesigned the hoses for their kit to accommodate the changes on the mid cycle 21s - now 2023s I checked mine...
  8. Reason For My Absence

Bit late to the party, but WELCOME BACK DAVE! We appreciate what you and the admin team do around here. Definitely a long overdo vacation of sorts, and it meant the Mrs. got you to herself instead of having to share you with us for a while ? Glad to see you back, and I expect the sale of...
  9. Bad dealership experience

As soon as I realized this was a CO related thread, I was waiting for a Frank D. Azar line ? In all seriousness, because I couldn't be bothered to read through all 2.25 pages, if OP is ok with this, what dealership? I would like to know who to avoid if possible. It sounds like one of the larger...
  10. Anybody seen premium cheaper than this?

I think that hotel might be gone Doug..... Closest thing to a hotel on that intersection now is an apartment complex on the northeast corner behind the Walgreens..... There is a couple more hotels closer to Wads and 120th/CO 128, one right by the hospital and another on the top of the hill near...
  11. Anybody seen premium cheaper than this?

Jesus Christ, the 119 QuikTrip is at $3.79? I remember when the Shell on the corner of Wadsworth and Midway in Broomfield was that cheap....... And I thought the $4.50 at the Sam's Club on Grant in Thornton was good.........
  12. Do you find different brands of gasoline make a difference?

I remember, living in California 5 years ago, that the Arco stations were usually the cheapest around. What I remember as well, is in my old Subaru, and my parents old Subaru, that running fuel from Arco, the cars not only ran like crap, but mileage would drop considerably. I think a lot of...
  13. TWO BUCKETS vs ONE BUCKET: What’s the best car wash method?

I concur, though Dave may be having to budget a bit now that the DeeZee dampers are on sale on the 'Zon for $25 the last I checked. Anywho, the gritguards will save you a lot of pain and suffering. The wash mitt without any agitation will still hold on to stuff that will cause the swirling, so...
  14. THE BEST PUMP SPRAYERS & FOAMERS FOR CAR DETAILING!

For those of us who would like to foam, but need to use the pay&spray (#apartmentLife), these are a solid option. I've been meaning to pick one up since too acidic of a PH (typical pay&spray soaps) will eat my ceramic alive, and my ceramic is what helps keep the damn thing clean after I decide...
  15. TWO BUCKETS vs ONE BUCKET: What’s the best car wash method?

I might know, but let me ask a couple of questions. A lot of my knowledge I've picked up from working with a professional detailer friend of mine (same guy who helped me ceramic my Ranger after I first got it) Are you using grit guards in your buckets? At the very least, do you have one in...
  16. BMW RAPING DRIVERS $18/mo for heated seats

BMW: $18 a month to use your heated seats Ford: We'll pay you to lock and unlock your truck with your phone..... I don't know about y'all, but I will let Ford pay me so they can collect analytics of me doing stupid stuff in my truck
  17. Electric locking rear differential.

Ohhhhh man, the E-Locker. Story time.... Last night, myself and a couple friends ended up popping out into one of the areas just north of where Northern Colorado had flash floods on an adventure just to get out and go have some fun in the great outdoors. My one friend, the Ford tech out of all...
  18. What would your dream car be if not a Ford?

I have a love affair with the old Datsun Z cars. Preferably, I would like to get my hands on a 240Z shell (because emissions), and drop in a newer drivetrain. I like the idea of keeping it in the family, so an RB series motor from Nissan with appropriate transmission seems ideal for what would...
  19. Saying good by soon - My 2022 Lariat F150 is in.

HERETIC! HERETIC! THERE'S A HERETIC IN OUR MIDSTS! Ok, I couldn't resist, walked right into it Dar. Glad you enjoyed the Ranger, and congratulations on getting into something that suits your needs a little bit more. Be sure to stop on by, and say hello, update us, etc, and when you...
  20. This is the last time I take my truck to the dealer for service

Grace under pressure helps a ton as well. When I had my Audi, I watched my friend take some serious heat. Grace under pressure and maintaining composure definitely helps, especially if they know you won't rip their head off if someone slips up
