I just had an awesome idea…next time I’m in PA how about I bring the ales and cigars (and wax). We both get to drink n smoke, and you get the pleasure of keeping another rig clean.

Ha - thanks - I’m generally too lazy to wash/clean/polish. Never waxed a vehicle I’m my life. This clearcoat seems like a good reason to not change that habit. <Retreats to flame-proof bunker…>

Question for the Ranger braintrust…my Ranger’s color is clearcoat rapid red. Great looking color, that I didn’t choose (I was interested in the model and specs and would have taken pretty much any color). So…is there anything special (or truly meaningful) about the use of the word ‘clearcoat’...

I just traded the SCAB for a SCREW so I’ll be moving it over to the shorter bed…hopefully will work just fine.

If I hadn’t bought the SCAB back in May, and sunk a bunch of costs into it, the Maverick would be a perfect/easy choice for me (well, 4WD + Hybrid would be really great). But, I can use my snow tires, bed rack, etc on the SCREW and not take a big loss on those.

I was experiencing the same earlier in the week (page reloads after you submit, with blank fields for the Order # and VIN). I think it has nothing to do with the whereabouts of your truck. It’s just a glitchy website.

So Carvana made me an offer I couldn’t turn down on my ‘21 XLT SCAB (the summary is that I basically drove 9K+ miles for free). I didn’t know how much I was going to like my Ranger, but it became my DD and so I need room for the kids in the back. Picking up the Rapid Red SCREW...

I got a call from my dealer today…the truck has arrived! Looks like it was delivered to the dealer right on schedule. I hope you get good news soon…
