  1. DEEZEE noise

Picture worth a thousand words… seems like some white lithium grease would work well
  2. 2 weeks in! Some observations.

Interesting - me too but on a blackout Lariat Screw 4x4. Mine says 30 for the Hankooks.
  3. 2 weeks in! Some observations.

Check the recommended psi for tires in your door jam. I dropped mine to 30 and it helped a lot.
  4. Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Leveling Shock Kit

Agreed - although you could probably get a shop to just reassemble the coilovers for relatively cheap though. Would still be cheaper than full coilover replacement options. It does feel great so far though. Very pleased.
  5. Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Leveling Shock Kit

Did have the tool - rented one and had a second one on hand. It was still challenge to get the spring compressed enough. It also is just the most potentially dangerous part, so it was a relief to get the top secured again.
  6. Lighting upgrades on 21 lariat

how close in color is the amber for the Morimoto side markers and those side mirror markers?
  7. Potential Stupid Question Alert: Painted ABS Sensor Wire

It is to me haha! That picture is from further away and zoomed in. Stands out more in real life. It will be black soon.
  8. Potential Stupid Question Alert: Painted ABS Sensor Wire

Never. I’m all over a sub $15 mini project.
  9. Potential Stupid Question Alert: Painted ABS Sensor Wire

Nah! This is a power to change the things I can sort of problem. Should be an easy one at that. I’ll take it!

  11. Potential Stupid Question Alert: Painted ABS Sensor Wire

Maybe I’ll just cut it off and leave it that way
  12. Potential Stupid Question Alert: Painted ABS Sensor Wire

I’m not sure why Ford opted for the white ABS sensor wire on the driver’s side. I noticed it before the front level, but now that the front level is done, the white cable stands out more than before. This may be a stupid question, but is there any potential issue painting the white visible...
  13. Need opinions: all season vs all terrain

This is what I’ve wondered as well. Would it look funny to do 32 inch all season on a leveled ranger? Anyone done this?
  14. 2020 Ranger FX4 bouncy rear end

Honestly, I would go with the rears only and give it couple weeks or couple hundred miles and see how you feel. It made a world of difference for me. Worst case you are out $30 on stage3 for not getting the kit with all 4. Rears are an easy upgrade, fronts are much more difficult.
  15. Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Leveling Shock Kit

Picture from this morning, my driveway has a slight pitch. Stock tires 265/60/18
  16. 2020 Ranger FX4 bouncy rear end

its also a very fresh install and still need to do alignment this week. I’ll report back but don’t think I’ll have any issues post-install.
  17. 2020 Ranger FX4 bouncy rear end

A local reputable shop with good reviews online quoted me $1200 for labor only just to do the front struts + alignment. My local dealer service center never called me back. I think your quotes may vary in the wild. On forums, other people who ended up paying on the higher end may not be as...
  18. Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Leveling Shock Kit

Did the front struts yesterday - was wiped out and haven’t driven a lot yet, so can’t give a solid report. First driving felt very nice though, firm but planted. Diving during braking is gone. I bought axle nuts from Ford ahead of time to replace the fronts while doing this upgrade, so had no...
  19. Forged Green Splash

In general, its looked darker and grayer than I would have thought. Not as nice as the new Frontier green.
