I’ve got a set of global springs coming and have the raptor bump stops in hand but from what I can tell the global springs are very close to the tremor springs height wise. So maybe it would be best to use the tremor bump stops with the global springs? And are the tremor bump stops similar to my...
Tow mode get any better with the downshifting? Last two days I tried tow mode and there is a fairly jerky downshift from 3-4. Definitely not engine breaking. Normal and sport both shift better.
That is if the mysterious fuel in the oil and excessive non tampered tailgate speed don’t take my truck out first. Shit, now I’m gonna start having nightmares… I walk out to check my beautiful truck, smell fuel, pull the dipstick and it’s flowing out the tube. I go under the truck to look and...
Give me another 90k miles first lol. If my first ford vehicle blows up a tranny at 5000 miles, they can swap it out at the same time as the windshield adhesive they owe me. So judging by the parts availability at my local dealer, should be sometime next year.
I have the raptor bump stops which are shorter than my current bump stops on my STX. Not sure about the tenor bump stops. I order these for my install of global leafs.
Bringing this back up bad damn I just drove home from work today and the downshifting was horrible. I tried tow mode the 1st bit of my drive and the truck shifted really rough so put it back in normal on the highway and buttery smooth. Then again on all the streets closer to my house started the...
Yeah I need to get in the habit of doing that. I’ve been in it so drive most of the time and it definitely lags at slower speeds when the rpm’s drop out.
It’s crazy how much one facility can power. They’re also working on ways to reuse the spent fuel as well. I think Nuclear is the best path forward all things considered. Once I started learning the details of how they operate, it’s pretty damn impressive. Some smart dudes out there who invented...
Copy, yeah I never remember hearing it but I also don’t remember a lot of things lol. I normally turn the auto start stop off so it’s been a bit and this last week I decided to keep it on and noticed the clicking at the moment of startup each time.
Ok, yeah I must have not noticed it. It’s definitely related to starting up as the click is the exact moment of startup. Guess I wasn’t paying attention when is A/S/S and never noticed it.
What tires are you running now? I have the leafs on order and everything else already showed up. Still need to order the coilovers and shocks kit (possibly Eibach). New tires will come after the suspension upgrades.
So the last week or so I’ve noticed a solenoid type clicking behind the glovebox when the auto Start Stop starts back up after stopping. Sound like maybe a solenoid? There are two plastic sounding clicks, rather loud, right as the truck starts back up. Sounds like behind the glovebox. Anyone...
You ever figure this out? Mine started making a clicking noise behind the glovebox when the car starts back up after shutting off from the auto start/stop feature. Loud plastic clicking sound.
Yep, fear mongering sells. Three Mile Island here in the US was utter propaganda. Especially after they came out and showed It did the public no harm, and the dose rates the public received were very low. Less than a years exposure of natural radiation which is less than you’d get on a plane...
