I'd laugh entirely without a care, except as a member of the Bronco6g forum... I've seen posts like these:

I'm hoping the spread on what is lost on the 2022 model from the 2021 model isn't too huge... Haven't taken the time to identify every difference on the Lariat trim level.
Yeah, and even if you can locate one, most dealers are charging higher price on inventory units compared to retail orders.
For the price we discussed, as long as it all comes through without surprises, this wait will have been well worth it. It just suuuuuucks. LOL
.... Am I the only one that feels/felt this way? (and please don't take this as a complaint in any way shape or form...)
From order placement, to scheduling, to in progress, to built, to shipped. Everything went surprisingly fast. (way faster than many others have had to endure)
ETA for...
I know, right? Wife thinks I'm stupid. But... paranoid part of me will always wonder if something was 'built sloppy' by that one guy that just wanted to get to the bar first.... ?
Figured I'd post an update. Just got my 'BUILT' email this morning. Delivery estimate is by 2/24/22.
Probably a combination of my dealer allocation, and picking the right config options to avoid any constraints. But as long as that felt, it was also pretty fast. I know that I'm very lucky...
...Well, bittersweet. It's built!! Just received the email from Ford.
But it was finished on a Friday... let's hope there aren't any missing bolts... :p
Don't be too envious, but I checked the tracker last night and I got an updated delivery estimate; it went from TBD to 2/22/22. :) (see signature for all dates)
Curious for those that have the black version, how hot does the lid get?
How much heat builds up inside the bed area on a summer afternoon? (I know every cover will increase temps due to no airflow, but just trying to get an idea if it turns the thing into an oven and everything has to be 300*...
The Rough Country is basically like most of the other Hard Fold units; add on rails stay installed (clamped to factory rails) and after folding up the cover it can be detached at the bulkhead.
WOW! $135 for the pair.... Ford sure is making bank on those things.... LOL Maybe I'll burn my Fordpass points on them then...
...or a tailgate dampener. ?
Decisions, decisions.... ?
There is only one that I know of; Extang Tri Fold 2.0
Extang Tri Fold 2.0 Hard Tonneau
It was the one I was planning on getting, but the reviews have been pretty consistently bad that it leaks, and not just at the sides or bulkhead, but EVERYWHERE, even the hinges along each panel in the center...
If the hose gets cut/nicked, you've got a problem.
If the hose clamp at the pan or the 'cap' leaks, you've got a problem.
If something ensnares the hose and pulls it off... you've got a major problem.
I think that this is a better option, and the route I will be going...
My Window Sticker link became active once I hit scheduled build date; it also changed to 'In Production' on that date as well.
Downloaded the sticker within seconds of seeing it available... ?
