Yah thats about how I would like to start, 265/18 KO2's on stock wheels with a 2" lift on the front to level things out. The 21's came with cast iron spindles I don't see any aftermarket UCA's made for CA spindles as of yet. From what I have read anything past the leveling you should start...
Well here we go, Stage 3 Motorsports was running an ad (2) days ago and I bit, purchased a set of Ford Performance tuned Fox struts and rear shocks, should arrive shortly into the new year.
Now I am wondering if I should just mount larger tires on the 18's that came with the truck or go custom...
Oh believe me I get that, but, you are an individual who forms thoughts for yourself, unfortunately a vast majority of our population will be led by the nose until the individuals who think for themselves are grossly outnumbered, I would expound on this but there are political boundaries on this...
I am not an avocate for either, EV's are the absolutely wrong way to go IMHO manufacturers are not finished squeezing more efficiency out of the ICE's the only reason they are moving to EV's so quickly is the promise of tax breaks, reduction in manufaturing costs and the gaurantees of subsities...
Oh I beg to differ with you, Robotaxi has been testing in Shanghai China for a year, while it restricted to only part of the city it has been operating there for a year and has now been given the green light so to speak to start charging customer for rides...
But according to the movie, "Don't look up" there will be a comet coming chalk full of rare earth minerals for batteries, just can't let Apple manage the safe landing of it........
I don't believe it will be a federal mandate, I am leaning toward a type of subscription whereby you buy a monthly/ annual subscription. Large corps like, google, apple, amazon will take over the transportation industry selling the subscriptions for autonomous vehicles. No need for parking lots...
The change is coming and quickly, look at the billions being committed by Ford alone toward EV's, with the next natural step being autonomous, heck my wife Lincoln has the lane centering option and it steers amazingly well, I read just recently there is a guy who has designed an autonomous kit...
I would like to think so, but, when the transition gets in full swing there is a good chance that we will not have a choice per se, the insurance industry will price us out from behind the wheel!

Yah to late for that, (already mounted a trifold by Rough Country) but I did see a home built unit from 1x 3 x 1/8" aluminum structural shapes, this custom piece actually mounted ontop of the bed rails and did not interfere with the cover tracks, the only issue was the need to drill 6 - 5/16"...
You missed your calling you should have been a writer, but I am surprised you used a river crossing in your example as rivers are really damp...errrr........badda bing....
I say that about the boat to, (Break Out Another Thousand) and seems never ending........ oh well I have never seen a hurst with a trailer hitch on it..... Maybe the feds will send me some more free money.......
So if we take off for more than a month what is the allowable time before and after to have the gear mounted to the truck so as to avoid being pretentious?
