That is a worthwhile investment, and amazing footage, I would love to have something I could really rely on when it's needed.
Mounting spot can be moved but doesn't get in the way at all.
What dash camera are you all using?
Mine: TOGUARDVIDEO Dual Dash Cam 1080P Front and Cabin Car Dashboard Camera with IR Night Vision, 2 Channel Driving Recorder Motion Detection, Parking Monitoring, Accident Locked, Loop Recording, 1.5in LCD...
Guessing RP might be riding a crotch rocket or something often crashed or stolen, even with a good clean record and being older, they hit you hard with insurance on those. A standard or dual sport is cheap like you meantioned. Never owned a Harley, might be cheap as well. My last R6 I was paying...
At least you had something in the extra tie down holes, I am going to have to clean my threads out from the factory spray. I purchased the M8 bolts but there's no threading them in with the spray.

Bass Raider:
Length: 10'
Width: 4'2"
Quest Angler at Dicks:
Length: 8’7”
Width: 4’
I definitely understand the reason why it's happening, from all the electronics, I just think it's ridiculous that they would introduce electronics that can't be sustained by the power system, same with other new vehicles with the same issue. Also not everyone has a garage and somewhere to plug...
I have the same question but with 18's, seems like way less options with the 18's. I had the Kenda klevers on my jeep, would love something similar on the ranger, a little bigger and much more tread, not finding a lot of options.
Having to hook up a battery tender for a new vehicle sitting for a week or two seems like a fail to me. I have a battery tender and it was always for motorcycles sitting over the winter. I can leave my 2019 Subaru sitting for weeks and it fires right up, so I am sceptical about having to leave...
